Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro specifications overview
The Galaxy F70 Pro features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display paired with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. With phones like the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite and Moto G77 Power offering LCD panels above Rs 25,000, the AMOLED panel on the Galaxy F70 Pro feels like a fresh breath of air. On top of that, it gains a flagship-grade display protection, which is highly appreciable in this segment.
Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with fast LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which should ensure stable performance and usability over a long period of time. The chipset should offer similar performance to the iQOO Z11x and Nord CE 6 Lite, both carrying the MediaTek Dimensity 7400.

On the camera front, the F70 Pro boasts a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), supported by a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens. It can record up to 4K videos, while the 12MP front camera offers HDR support. Even though the hardware for the ultrawide and macro lens isn’t anything to write home about, most brands are completely skipping these sensors, resulting in less camera flexibility for photographers.
Keeping the Galaxy F70 Pro powered is a massive 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Samsung claims it can deliver over 24 hours of YouTube playback, more than 8 hours of gaming, or around 12 hours of social media use on a single charge. Now, the major highlight of the device, the F70 Pro, launched with Android 16-based One UI 8.5; it is promised six years of OS upgrades along with six years of security patch updates, on par with Samsung’s Galaxy M47 under the Rs 30,000 segment.
Should you consider buying the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro?
Even at its original price of Rs 25,999, the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro has an edge over the similarly priced OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite and Moto G77 Power in a couple of departments, such as an AMOLED panel instead of an LCD and significantly longer software support.
With One UI 8.5 on board, the Galaxy F70 Pro is likely to appeal to users wanting a well-refined and feature-rich UI, thanks to features like NowBar, quick settings customisation, GoodLock, and more. Furthermore, with six OS upgrades supported, the Galaxy F70 Pro shall stay up to date with the latest advancements for years to come. Taking all of these into account, the phone is shaping up to be a solid midranger for those prioritising entertainment and software longevity.
