Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup, comprising the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, could open for pre-orders as early as this week. Alleged marketing material for the series has surfaced online, hinting at the timeline and early-bird offers. That said, Samsung is yet to officially confirm the launch date. If recent rumours are anything to go by, the next-generation flagship trio could be unveiled on February 25th.

Samsung has already begun teasing the lineup, highlighting major improvements in privacy, zoom capabilities, and low-light photography. With the teasers now live and marketing assets seemingly ready, it’s increasingly likely that the Galaxy S26 series is all set to launch. Here’s the tea:

Samsung Galaxy S26 series pre-order date & offers (alleged)

Potential buyers of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series should be able to pre-book their smartphones and place orders from Wednesday, February 11. An alleged promotional poster has surfaced online, clearly revealing the date alongside the Galaxy S26 Ultra in a new purple colourway, complete with a matching S Pen.

While the colour option appears to be new, the handset continues to feature a quad-camera setup. However, instead of Samsung’s familiar individually protruding lenses, the design seemingly adopts a more compact camera island that sits slightly raised from the rear panel. The device also appears slimmer than ever before. Backed by chamfered edges, the Galaxy S26 Ultra should be more comfortable to hold than other ultra-premium offerings, which have steadily grown in both size and weight.

For users pre-booking the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung appears to be lining up a few launch offers, including a complimentary 60W Samsung charger. Given that Samsung no longer bundles a charger in the box, this could be a worthwhile incentive.

Apart from this, Samsung Galaxy S26 series’ pre-reserve benefits may also include ‘Yearly delivery’, ‘Special offer’, ‘Additional 1 offer’, ‘premium service’ and many more discounts. The details regarding these offers remain grim at the moment.

Samsung hasn’t yet officially posted about the pre-reservation date and details, so take the news with a grain of salt.

Subtle upgrades over a complete redesign

Regardless, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series is shaping up to be a compelling upgrade, particularly for users coming from the Galaxy S23 and S24 lineups. The series is expected to be powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chipset, paired with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box. It is also likely to feature an LTPO AMOLED display for improved efficiency and smoother performance.

In terms of design, Samsung appears to be opting for subtle but premium refinements, including a titanium frame, an IP68 rating, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. While the camera sensors are expected to remain unchanged on paper, rumours point towards possible aperture upgrades, which could translate into improved low-light performance and overall image quality. How meaningful these improvements are in real-world use is something we’ll only be able to determine once the devices are put through a full review.
