Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ India prices officially revealed
Samsung has announced the official pricing and availability details of the Galaxy Tab S12 series in India. The lineup consists of two tablets: the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. Samsung launched the tablets globally and in India last month, but pricing details hadn’t been revealed yet.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ price in India starts at Rs 1,29,999 for the Wi-Fi model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 5G model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 1,44,999. As for the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, the Wi-Fi variant is priced at Rs 1,49,999, and the 5G variant at Rs 1,64,999.

Samsung is offering up to Rs 5,000 in bank cashback, along with an upgrade bonus of up to Rs 5,000. Additionally, multi-buy offers include a discount of Rs 15,000 when purchasing a tablet together with select flagship smartphones, such as the Fold8, Fold Ultra, Flip8, S26 Ultra/+, or S25 Ultra/+, as well as 15% off on wearables (Buds4/Pro) and 30% off on accessories like the Pro Keyboard Cover when bundled with a tablet. There are flexible No-Cost EMI options for up to 24 months available through participating bank and NBFC partners.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+, Tab S12 Ultra specifications
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has a large 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits peak brightness, while the Tab S12+ offers a smaller 12.6-inch screen. Powering the tablets is MediaTek’s 3nm Dimensity 9500 chipset, claimed to offer up to 19 percent faster CPU performance and 17 percent better GPU performance than the Tab S11 Ultra.
Battery capacity differs between the two tablets, where the Ultra packs an 11,600mAh battery, while the Tab S12+ houses a 10,600mAh unit. Samsung claims up to 23 hours of battery life on the Ultra and 21 hours on the Plus. Both tablets come with 45W charging support, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, quad speakers, and microSD expansion up to 2TB.
On the software front, the tablets run the latest Android 17-based One UI 9 along with Galaxy AI features such as note summaries, three-way split-screen multitasking, and Gemini integration. Adobe Photoshop also comes preloaded, with S Pen support for image editing and design work. S Pen is bundled with both tablets.
The Galaxy Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra are flagship tablets aimed at users who want the most premium experience out of a tablet. While the price tag is steep, the inclusion of Galaxy AI and a powerful chipset makes these tablets compelling contenders for serious productivity users. These tablets can also act as laptop replacements if you want the convenience of portability.
If budget isn’t a constraint and you want the latest Android flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Ultra can be considered. However, if you’re already using a Galaxy Tab S10 or S11 series tablet, you might want to compare properly before planning to upgrade.
