According to the database entry, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6878 chipset, which is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The chipset suggests it will sit on the lower end of the mid-range segment. The choice of the Dimensity 7300 suggests Vivo may be aiming for a balance between efficiency and everyday speed rather than raw performance.
The listing imagery also hints at a flat display and flat-edged frame, which is in line with the current V70 lineup.
The V70 Lite 5G is expected to join the broader V70 family, which already includes the Vivo V70, V70 Elite, and V70 FE. Judging by the “Lite” branding, this variant will likely target buyers looking for a more affordable entry point into the series without sacrificing modern essentials like 5G connectivity and capable performance.
