Vivo could be adding another phone to its V70 lineup. The Vivo V70 Lite 5G has surfaced on the Google Play Console database, giving us an early look at what could become a new affordable model in Vivo’s V70 lineup. It’s also the fourth model to join the existing lineup, which includes the Vivo V70, V70 Elite, and V70 FE. Although there’s no official teaser yet, the Google Play Console listing suggests the launch is imminent.

Vivo V70 Lite 5G Google Console details

The Google Play listing reveals key specifications, including a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and memory options with up to 12GB RAM. According to the database entry, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6878 chipset, which is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The chipset suggests it will sit on the lower end of the mid-range segment. The choice of the Dimensity 7300 suggests Vivo may be aiming for a balance between efficiency and everyday speed rather than raw performance.

The listing imagery also hints at a flat display and flat-edged frame, which is in line with the current V70 lineup.

The V70 Lite 5G is expected to join the broader V70 family, which already includes the Vivo V70, V70 Elite, and V70 FE. Judging by the “Lite” branding, this variant will likely target buyers looking for a more affordable entry point into the series without sacrificing modern essentials like 5G connectivity and capable performance.

If Vivo positions the V70 Lite aggressively, it could end up competing in the popular mid-range segment, where there are several budget options already. That said, we should still wait for details around cameras, battery capacity, charging speeds, and software support before coming to a conclusion. Vivo’s strength in recent years has often been camera tuning and premium design, so the final value of the V70 Lite will depend on whether the company can maintain those strengths at a lower price point.

For now, it’s better to go ahead and buy a mid-range phone if you’re in a hurry, or you can decide to wait if you want a more affordable V70 series phone, especially if you’re currently using a 2-year-old mid-range phone.
