  • Pricing and availability details are yet to be revealed.
  • Vivo is expected to launch the V80 FE in India too.

Following multiple certification sightings, the Vivo V80 FE has now been made official, at least in the Philippines. The smartphone has been listed on the Vivo Philippines website, with its design and key specifications detailed. However, its pricing and availability details haven’t been revealed yet. Ahead of this, the Vivo V80 FE was spotted on certification sites in Indonesia and India’s BIS as well, suggesting an imminent launch.

Vivo V80 FE specifications

According to the website listing, first spotted by Android Treasure, the Vivo V80 FE is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The V70 FE uses the Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, so the new model should offer improved performance. It features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits local peak brightness, and 1,800 nits HBM brightness. In comparison, the Vivo V70 FE has a slightly bigger 6.83-inch screen with 1,900 nits peak brightness.

The device houses a 7,000mAh BlueVolt battery with 90W FlashCharge support and a 4,666mm² vapour chamber for thermal management. Battery details are the same as the V70 FE. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. On the software front, the V80 FE runs OriginOS 7.0 based on Android 17 out of the box.

For photography, the Vivo V80 FE features a triple ZEISS camera setup, comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus, and a 50MP front camera. The main camera might seem like a downgrade since the V70 FE features a 200MP sensor, but we’ll still have to see the results in real-world performance. The selfie shooter supports ZEISS Multifocal Portrait with 23mm, 35mm, and 50mm focal lengths, while other camera features include ZEISS Style Bokeh, AI Aura Light Portrait 2.0, AI 3D Studio Lighting 2.0, Creative Fisheye Mode, AI Creative Camera effects, and Creative Sticker Collage. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.

The Vivo V80 FE comes in two colors: Sparkling Gold, which Vivo says is inspired by fireworks lighting up the night sky, and Chill Green, a calm shade inspired by fresh leaves.

Based on what has been officially revealed, the Vivo V80 FE will be a premium mid-ranger and serve as an affordable alternative to the V80 series. Interested buyers can consider the V80 FE for its design, cameras with lots of AI, and the latest software version. However, Vivo V70 FE users who don’t need that performance upgrade may not want to upgrade.
