On the specifications front, both smartphones feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a claimed peak brightness of 5,000 nits, ensuring excellent outdoor visibility and smooth scrolling. The devices also carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong protection against dust and water exposure.

The Vivo V70 Elite is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, offering reliable upper mid-range performance with improved efficiency. The standard Vivo V70 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which is the same as its predecessor, the V60. There’s no generational upgrade here, but the V70 is capable enough for regular to moderate usage.

Photography remains a central focus for the V70 series. Both models share the same camera hardware, headlined by a 50MP Zeiss Night Telephoto sensor. The setup also includes a 50MP Zeiss OIS main sensor and an 8MP Zeiss ultra-wide lens. On the front, there is a 50MP Zeiss selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view, making the phones particularly appealing for content creators and photography enthusiasts.

Powering the devices is a large 6,500mAh battery paired with 90W FlashCharge support. While phones are offering upwards of 7,000mAh, this battery capacity is more than enough to get you through an entire day and a bit more. Both devices also ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box.

For buyers, the decision comes down to performance priorities. The Vivo V70 Elite is the better pick for those who want more consistent performance and higher storage options. In most other areas, the two phones remain largely similar, offering strong battery life, a premium design with a vibrant display, and capable primary as well as telephoto cameras.

The standard Vivo V70, on the other hand, serves as the more affordable option for users who are comfortable with regular day-to-day performance and do not want to spend extra on the Elite variant.
