Vivo V80 Lite 5G launches with 7,050mAh battery, but other markets could get 10,000mAh model
Vivo has launched the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Pakistan with a 7,050mAh battery, but the same name will reportedly be used for a different model in Malaysia with a 10,000mAh cell. The regional variations make the V80 Lite lineup interesting, as Vivo appears to be tailoring the phone’s hardware for different markets.
The Pakistan model combines a curved AMOLED display with a Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset and dual rear cameras much like the Vivo S2, while the Malaysian version will get a flatter design and is confirmed to launch on September 3rd with Vivo’s first 10,000mAh battery in a globally launched smartphone.

Vivo V80 Lite specifications
The Pakistan Vivo V80 Lite 5G has a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 449ppi density and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. It runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and includes stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Its rear cameras include a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor and a 2MP bokeh camera, while a 32MP camera handles selfies.
The 7,050mAh battery supports 44W charging and bypass charging. The phone also has IP68 and IP69 ratings, five MIL-STD-810H certifications and drop testing across seven surfaces.
The Malaysian V80 Lite, meanwhile, has been confirmed to come with a 10,000mAh battery with 100W charging, along with a flat frame and rear panel. It will be offered in black, green and pink, with a square camera module housing a 50MP primary sensor.
High-capacity batteries are becoming quite common in the mid-range segment. Realme and Honor have already introduced 10,000mAh phones, while Redmi is expected to follow with the Note 17 Pro Max. Silicon-carbon battery technology is helping manufacturers increase capacity without requiring a proportional increase in size.
Price
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G costs PKR 1,24,999 (around Rs 43,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant in Pakistan, while the 8GB + 256GB model is priced at PKR 1,45,999 (around Rs 50,300). The Pakistan model shares much of its hardware with the Vivo S2 5G, which starts at around Rs 39,999 in India. Both phones use the Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, have a 7,050mAh battery with 44W charging and carry IP68/IP69 protection.
That suggests Vivo may be reusing the S2 hardware under the V80 Lite name in some markets, as certification listings showed the two to bear the same model number in a few regions. However, it’s not yet clear whether the Pakistan model, Malaysian model or another configuration will eventually be introduced in India.
For Indian buyers, the Malaysian version is the more interesting one to watch if it arrives. A 10,000mAh battery could offer excellent endurance, but the phone’s weight, thickness and charging performance will matter just as much. If you’re in Pakistan and prioritise long battery life and a premium display in the mid-range, the V80 Lite 5G is a strong contender.
