Vivo X200T will be a new addition to the flagship lineup from last year. The smartphone has been rumoured since December, with its specifications, India launch timeline, and even pricing already leaked. Confirming rumours, Vivo has now officially teased the X200T smartphone on Flipkart. The timing is interesting, though, as the X200 series is the outgoing flagship lineup and the new X300 series is official in India.
The Vivo X200T is also tipped to be a mix between the X200 and X200 FE, and its leaked specs suggest so, too. The X200T could be positioned between the two phones to offer a flagship experience without the premium price tag. Vivo is known to offer multiple models in its mid-range T-series, and now the same strategy may be expanding to its flagship lineup too.
On Flipkart, Vivo has only posted the teaser announcement with a glimpse at the phone’s rear design. It’s a circular camera module like Vivo’s flagship phones. The smartphone is seen in a dark purple, and it’s confirmed to feature Zeiss optics. The Vivo X200T will also launch with OriginOS 6 out of the box. More details, like the camera and performance, will be revealed soon. Vivo is also teasing the X200T to provide a ‘flagship experience’.
As for the rest of the specifications, the Vivo X200T is tipped to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The smartphone is tipped to pack a 6,200mAh battery, which is slightly less than the X200 FE (6,500mAh). Considering the X200T isn’t a compact phone, the battery capacity might fall short in front of phones like the OnePlus 15R (7,000mAh).
Charging is set at 90W wired and 40W wireless, which is a pretty good setup. The Vivo X200T is also rumoured to feature a triple 50MP camera setup with a Sony LYT-702 main sensor, a Samsung JN1 ultra-wide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Up front, there’s a 32MP selfie cam. With Vivo’s Zeiss partnership, the X200T is expected to offer flagship-grade cameras.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo X200T is tipped to fall between Rs 50,000 and Rs 55,000, which would be around the same as the X200 FE. Since the phone is teased to offer a flagship experience, the leaked pricing could be accurate. If the leaked specs and pricing hold true, this phone could be a strong contender for users who want an X200-series phone which isn’t compact but offers flagship-grade features. For new buyers, waiting for full reviews and official pricing is advisable to confirm value.’
We would be able to get a better idea when the Vivo X200T is officially launched in India. For now, we can wait and see the final specifications of the X200T and if pricing will match up, especially against rivals.
