Display and Configuration
The IBall Slide i701 tablet houses a 7-inch IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch display and supports a maximum resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. It has a pixel density of 216 ppi and provides decent viewing angles from all directions. The tablet comes housed in a blue colour chassis that looks quite trendy. Managing all the processes inside is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor based on an Intel Atom chipset. To improve the performance further the device includes a 1GB RAM. The Slide i701 is the cheapest Windows OS-powered tablet in India, sails on the latest Windows v8.1.
Camera and Storage
The tablet is shipped with a 2MP fixed focus rear camera with a digital zoom. Considering the low price tag of the device, the camera configuration seems okay. The tablet also houses a 0.3MP front camera for clicking selfies and video calling. The tablet brags about a mammoth storage space as it comes with an internal memory of 16GB and can be further expanded up to 32GB via external Micro SD card slot.
Battery and Connectivity
To run a vast multitude of operations the tablet sips juice from a powerful 3200mAH, Li-Po, Non-removable battery. The IBall Slide i701 tablet has been spotted with a wide array of connectivity options. It includes 3G via dongle, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro HDMI and USB connectivity.
