The machine has been installed for over a day now and its performing well - quite pleased with it.nBut the guys who come to install (as i read in other reviews) ... they are more keen to sell the EXTRAS, rather than installing and giving a demo for which they are there in the first place.nnWith IFB charging so much on the machine .. these guys make it sound like if we don't buy those extras, and use it, the machine will get spoilt.nDoes IFB authorities know this is what their sales guy and demo guys do, when they are out there?nnIt's ridiculous to hear from their installation guy, that the ball-bearing will go, if i didn't buy a filter, which costs Rs.1800/-, as the hard water will rot the machine in 3-4 years time.nnAlso, he said if we don't buy the descalers, 4 packets for 4 months usage, with each packet costing Rs.160/- or 180/-, then it would set a permanent mark on the machine, and the clothes will start smelling after 4 months.nnSuch idiotic guys should be removed from the company .. they not only spoil the company's name, but sell products which i am sure IFB will not endorse authentically.nnCan Flipkart recommend or forward this message to IFB?

guaranteed to break down. non existent service. call centres are unresponsive . no spare parts in stock!!!! dont waste you money on these lemons.

Hi, nI am using IFB digital 5.5 for last 8 years .. The machine was good for first 2 years without much complaints ... The first service requirement was the PCB gone bad .. from there on, I have spend almost 25K till now .. which is almost equivalent to the price of another washing machine... nnConsn====n1) Spare availability.n2) Price of parts are @ will of visiting engineer.n3) They force you to buy other products.n4) If you take AMC from IFB vendor, be rest assured that they will not turn up until AMC expires.n5) Call center and escalation mechanism is of no use .. they just give you some contact numbers if you ask for escalation. nnProsn===n1) Wash quality is good. nnThxnRobin

Wonderful product, with great satisfaction. I am using it daily. i washed all kind of clothes in it. very less wrinkles in clothes after washing. large drum. it has sufficient programs for day to day home use.

I have used this one for the past four months. Its good. It takes around 2.30 hours to complete a normal wash and a quick wash takes 1.30 hours. Since there is no display, we do not know the exact elapsed time and thats the only thing i didnt like much. Also, it needs a 16 Amp 3 pin plug for this machine. I liked this very much as the wash quality is good. As hot wash is also available as in-built which is an add on.
