The Lava 408e is a budget friendly phone designed for the common man of India. As a concept, that is pretty cool as most people cannot afford a touch phone but certainly yearn for one. In terms of meeting these needs, the phone has a strong presence in the market. For the low, low price of 3,830, this is a phone that practically any one can buy. These are the features you’ll get though: • The operating system is Android 2.3, which is an extremely old but reliable form of the software. • There is a 3 MP camera which seems to be the highlight of this phone. There is also a front camera which is a VGA camera. • The 1500 mAh battery is only a tad bit lesser than their more frequently marketed devices. Can’t say how well this will last if one is using the phone extensively. • The internal memory is 256 MB with a 512 MB RAM • There is a 1 GHz Processor as well. • The 4 inch screen size is good • It is available in black and silver.
