its touchpad is not working properlyni purchased 2 laptop of same model from WS Retails(Flipkart)nbut both the laptops shows same problemnEven lenovo cant recognise this issueni am very unsatisfied from this modelnits the worst dealni dont want to purchase this laptop in future...nplz dont purchase this model. its the worst model....
Bought this laptop's AMD version in hurry as my dell studio got dead First thing this laptop looks only shiny in its pics and description There are severe problems with keyboard as it is flimsy and sometimes it does not gets pressed when you try to push with little pressure. Regarding this problem i have read in others reviews and thought it will not be much of a problem, but i was clearly wrong. Mouse pad is also not good, and i have to buy a wireless mouse. Expect black colored one model instead of the silver shown in images. And the biggest problem is its LAN port, i must say very bad design. Flexible design of the LAN port makes it very easily lose contact and results in connection breakage frequently even with small movement. No serial port for connecting LCD projector. Also hinges looks weak, hoping it will stay intact till i arrange money to buy a new one. Finally thanks to Lenovo it comes pre-installed with lots of software from Lenovo, making laptop slow. Only pro is you can have a touch screen for low cost, which you are hardly going to use believe me. Advice buy some other laptop, or first check this laptop at a store.

Bought this laptop as my old and beaten up HP Laptop wasn't performing well and had slowed down over the years. I usually don't upgrade laptops as much as i do with phones and my old laptop lasted me 6 years before it gave out, so I did quite bit of research before zeroing in on this model. nnPros- nn1. Got the laptop at good deal, compared to other e-tailers n2. Good screen. has a HD display but not Full HD , so had to compromise there , but for the average user it won't matter that much, unless you are viewing HD movies or Doing editing of HD photos. This doesnt bother me much becaise I have full HD Tablet which takes care of my HD movie needs. n3. It does not heat up very much after prolonged use . I use my Laptop mostly for doing MS office related applications such as Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Access, works pretty well with those applications, no lag whatsoever. But I noticed some lag when multitasking with multiple applications open, when I keep multiple browser pages on firefox open along with my MS office related stuff running simultsneously, but I guess that is expected with i3. At this price point I aint complaining. n4. Touch screen is an added bonus. doing my work has definitely speeded up with it. touch response could have better, but in no way i'm saying that it is bad, it gets the job done n5. Keyboard is delight to type on. Backlit keyboard is a bonus feature. Since I do a lot of typing I am in love with this piece.n6. Weight - though it weighs 1.9 kgs, it feels a much more lighter that it seems and lugging it around is no tough task n7. Yoga like flexibility - . though i don't use this feature as often but it is a nice feature to have . n8. Performance- because of the 8gb SSD the boot speed is really good and gives the i3 a snappy performance when opening applications and playing videos. n nnCons - nn1. Battery only gives back up for about 4 to 5 hours while doing continuous work ( mostly MS office and related ) . But browsing the net and doing CPU intensive work saps the juice out of this battery pack , will last only 2 to maximum of 3 hours in such cases. n2. Speakers - the overall sound output is by no means weak , but the sound lacks that extra punch and lacks good bass output. This does not really bother me because I have a great bluetooth speaker which takes care of all my speaker needs.n3. HDD Capacity and speed - I feel that a 1TB hdd would have been better, but not expecting that much at this price . Sometimes the HDD seems slow, but nothing troublesome n4. Build quality - would have much more happier if the build quality didn't feel plasticy. the cover has a sort of matt finish but it is definitely made of plastic . Overall it does not give me a lot of confidence to handle this laptop more roughlyn nVerdict- Though I have been using this laptop only for about 20 days, it maybe early to say that it is great product at this price range. But considering all the pros and cons , I can commit to saying that it is a GOOD laptop especially give the pricepoint it is being sold at . I am inclined to recommend this product if your looking for a budget laptop with good all round performance .
