I am thankful to flipkart and the seller WS retail for incredible service. The phone has following pros and cons:nPROS:n1. Amazing display, sharp and excellentn2. Very sleek and slim n3. Dolby digital plus rocks, super headphone qualitynCons:n1. Lenovo SALES DEPTT IS FOOL: they doesn’t know about the product. I was told it supports video by lenovo sales department (toll free no. on their website). I had confirmed it twice and ordered the phone. Later on found it doesn’t support video call so it is a 3g phone without video calls.n2. 3G CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM WHERE NETWORK IS WEAK:nThere four modes of network selection in the phone. n1 Auton2 WCDMA onlyn3 GSMonlyn4 WCDMA preferrednWhen phone is set on auto mode, it doesn?t catch the 3g mode. When phone set on wdcdma preferred mode, it also doesnt catch the 3g network. When opted for wdcdma mode only, it catches very weak 3g network and can?t use this network inside the house. In open place, it catches only two-three points only while other phones catch 3g inside as well as outdoor with very good connectivityn3. SLOW and HANGS sometime:nsometimes, Phone becomes unresponsive while browsing videos and photos from gallery. Screen gets dark.nIt also doesn’t create thumbs for videos in gallery.n4. BAD CAMERA: nPoor camera, cant take picture inside the house clearly. Images appear grainy. Flash also problematic. while capturing photo at a short distance and in low light, flash comes first and photo is captured then. It results in black image. Video recording is amazingly pathetic. It tries to adjust image all the time and it results in blured image and you cant use zoom while recording at 720p. Audio recorded with video is very poor. It's very difficult to hear.n5. NOT SO FASTnIts not as fast as MTK 6589 quad core processor.n6. VERY IMPORTANT IT DOESN’T SUPPORT VIDEO CALL ON 3G NETWORKn7. CANT PLAY HD VIDEOS PROPERLYn8. Poor battery backupnthis review is updated after 10 days use of it. Overall this product is average except display and sound quality. But to compromise it for other things is foolishness. Go for other inidan (MMX or XOLO) brands or add some more money and buy samsung or sony phones.

I bought this mobile a week ago. My experience is as below.nnPros: Excellent speed and performance as it has 1GB RAM and a good processor. It can handle so many processes with ease. Navigation is easy as it has huge display. Internal memory of 4 GB helps a heaps. Can install as many apps you want to have in your device. nnCons: The touch sensitivity is really poor. Especially the back button, you might even get frustrated to use the back button, it responds after 5 or 6 tappings once the back ground light is turned off. Lenovo has to work a lot with the touch sensitivity. The case and the scratch card are hard to find in market. The scratch card makes the touch sensitivity to even worse. The background LED light for the menu and back keys looks too bright and silly. Battery dies in few hours if you keep using it for music and internet. But can stay for a day with minimal usage. Camera is not so great even though it has 5 MP.nnOverall 6 out off 10 points for this phone but it deserves an 8 or 9 had the touch sensitivity has been made better. Hope lenovo makes necessary steps to fix these bugs.

I had bought this phone 5 months back and it has been really a painful experience.nthe basic feature of the phone - Mike is not working. We went to Lenovo customer care in sec 14 gurgaon and they kept our phone for 5 days to change the mike!!!nCan you beat that - 5 days to replace mike.... nThen after 20 days again same problem came.. We again went there then they said they need to replace some other part which they dont have... So we are waiting for that part for past 10 days and are not able to use the phone....nnMoreover they dont repair the phone on same day making it much worse for us..nnMy suggestion dont buy Lenovo phone..

The phone is very nice and handy consisting of all the quality of a good phone. Just some tyms the touch creates a problem.. nWhereas, everthing is up to the mark..

LENOVO A706 IS REALLY A GOOD PHONE AS PER BUDGET OF 9000 RANGE - GOOD CAMERA, SYSTEMS & ETC. ALLOVER I WILL SAY VALUE FOR MONEY.
