This is a good laptop in this price . I have brought it at greater price than now . But let's remove all confusions about this lappy. it have quad core amd a8-6410 prcesser with clock speed of 2.0 GHz it have 8gb ram of800mhz(not 1600 mhz as mentioned it in specifications) 1 tb hard disk 5400 rpm battry life 5hrs-at no work , 4hrs if watching movie ,2.30hrs while gaming graphics radeon r5 2gb graphics cache memory 2mb(0.5mbx4) 1inch width multitouch touchpad sound quality is very good dolby speakers screen is of 15.6 inch but sometimes screen is shaking but i found it does not matter. After buying this , install windows 7 64bit or windows 8 64 bit install all drivers from dvd or download from lenevo website

A good laptop ruined by annoying design flaws

First I will start with Flipkart delivery. I received the latop on the second day of ordering it which was quite impressive. However ther packing got me concered as the Flipkat box in which the laptop arrived was packed shabily and it looked like it was not handeled with care. But the lenovo box that contained the laptop was in good condition. Eventhoug the description does not mention it, a free lenovo bag is included, sweet! Now coming to the laptop: PROS: Good configuration AMD A8, 8GB RAM and 2GB graphic card Display is decent graphics are good and supports games like Devil May CRy 5. No overheating as of now. Since no OS is pre-installed you are free to install an OS of you choice and make all the partitions you want. Audio is Good and lots of short cut keys Sleek design and not too heavy. HDMI Port as well as VGA port. The drivers CD that is included has old version dowload the latest from Lenovo site or AMD and you are set to go. CONS(not exactly techical but more likeexternal build and design) The touch pad buttons are foolishy narrow and you really have to focus when pressing them also the touch pad is not at the same leve as the latop's suface but slightly pressed in which is very irritatiing. The real annoying ones are the LEDs which are ridiculousy small and even smaller are the symbols they represent. There is no HDD activity LED, only Power and battery LEDs which are located at the front. The LEDS are two little dots and the power and batery subols are so small that i had to use a flash light to see them properly in a well lit room. Finally one major dissapointment was that when I purchased the laptop there was an offer of 2years extended warranty for just 1499, but after purchasing this latop and registering it for that offer it got declined saying that this paticualt series is not eligible for that offer, sad! I would have given this laptop 5 stars but the warranty thin and teh desing annoyance take away two stars.

Good entry level gaming laptop

A8-6410 is mullin processor, lag behind in single application compare to core i5, but do multitasking comparable. Cool and silent after installing drivers, for windows 7 install lenovo energy management of g505s model for airplane mode. R5 graphic consume memory from ram, 512mb on 4gb and share 1.5gb. dedicated graphic is entry level R5 M230 (Radeon 8500m) having 2gb ddr3 ram, total graphic memory for 8gb is about 6gb. Build quality is good for price, display of colours are dull not bright, lightweight, sound quality is good have dolby certified, bottomside have fan. Pros: low price, gaming capability, lightweight, sound Cons: display, screen

Its The Perfect Laptop in This Price range with killer Specs

I am writing this review after using laptops for two weeks.... I was searching for a good laptop from 1 month between the price range of 40-50k but when seeing the specs of this one i bought this one and really i doesn't regret my decision... pros:- Resonable Price(5/5) Good 15.6inch Display(4.5/5) , Good Keyboard(4.5/5) 8Gb Ram , 2gb Graphic Card (Really Worth it)(6/5) Average Battery Life(upto 4hrs of constant usage)(4.5/5) Apu A8 Processor(Giving tight competition to costly intel i5 processors)(5/5) Gaming:-Best entry level gaming phone(fifa14 works like charm)(5/5) Good Design(4/5) Light Weight Quickest Boot Time Dos(saved my 5000rs) Charger cable length(more than medium) All the drivers available at lenovo site and they had also provided it in the package(for win8.1 64bit) And Many more.....(in one word if you want a lappy at 30k buy this one without further thinking) All the drivers available at lenovo site and they had also provided it in the package Cons:- Camera(but it dosen't matter)(3/5) Trackpad also not the best(4/5) and also the backpack provided with it is also of very good quality.... to enter into boot menu press fn+f9 or fn+f12(if somebody doesn't know) at last i have installed win8.1 64bit os and they have provided the "drivers cd" for the same and i m just loving my laptop it has saved my money and i have bought yureka from that money....(:>

1600Mhz not 800 Mhz RAM

To all the people, who are saying it is 800Mhz RAM, i am sure you guys are checking with CPU-Z. Do not tell false specifications if you have not done any research on it. DDR stands for "Double Data Rate". This laptop have DDR3 1600Mhz RAM. CPU-Z shows only 800Mhz i.e. the single rate with multiplier 2. So which is 800*2 = 1600. Google for 2-3 minutes if you want to know more on it. Finally about the major negative point of this laptop, it's display is aweful. That is one of those reasons they added 8 GB RAM to sell these laptops. White does not show up as white, it is like yellowish white. Same with other colors. Color saturation is pathetic. Open a picture with your smart phone and in this laptop, you will see what i mean. Better go with a laptop with 4 GB Ram similar prices and later upgrade it. Upgrading a RAM is much cheaper than replacing a pathetic display. The processor and graphics card in this laptop can do much better. Display problem is not AMD's fault, it is a bad display screen by Lenovo.
