Overall: My review is more concerning to the service rather than the product. I bought this from Flipkart on 17th September. Upon receiving I realized the sound doesn't work. Even though external speakers are working, internal is not working. I tried troubles...

Presence of a dedicated Graphic card makes this device an absolute gaming paradise. Other than this, the hardware configuration of this laptop is modest. As is custom with such devices, the screen is absolutely stunning and sound quality is also good. All in all, if you are looking for a cheap gaming device then this Lenovo Essential won't disappoint you.

Display and design

The Lenovo Essential G50 -70 comes with a 15.6-Inches, 1,366 x 768 pixel display, which delivers crisp and vibrant visuals. With the dimensions of 384 x 265 x 25 mm, this essential model is very well-built, but is little bit heavy and weighs around 2.5 kg. Outer framework is made of solid aluminium and feels very safe.

Processor and memory

The Lenovo Essential G50 -70 laptop is equipped with 1.7GHz Intel Core i3 4th Gen processor. It is a high-end processor, working at a high speed it can process many tasks at once without showing any signs of fatigue. All the graphic processes are handled by dedicated 2GB AMD Read on graphic processor. It has a RAM of 4GB (DDR), and comes with two slots for the scope of expansion. The Laptop operates on Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64 bit) operating system, which is latest from the house of Microsoft. All in all, machinery in this laptop is at par with other laptops in the similar price range.
