Touch Supported Linux Ubuntu Laptop by Lenovo

I have given 4 Rating to this Laptop ! I am Linux User and Purchased it to use Linux on the same Laptop. So My Reviews are Linux Based ! Advantages :- 1. Touch is Fully Supported on Linux, I am Using Ubuntu 13.10 x86_64 Bit Version and Fully Supported 2. Nice Design. Slim and very light weight. 3. Wonderful Hardware and Every thing is compatible to Linux ( Camera, Wifi, LAN ) Disadvantages :- 1. Battery Backup is very less ( 2 hours ) 2. Only 2 USB Ports ( 1 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0) 3. There is no required Indicators ! ( No Wifi LED / Num Lock LED / not indicator even on Charger ) Their Support is not much Impressive. Response from Call Centers and Service Centers are not at all upto the mark.

Battery back up is very poor

I bought this laptop in diwali offer one and half months before. Performance of the system is not bad. Initially I was getting less than 30 minutes back up for battery. Once I contacted, I got it replaced within two weeks. Now I am getting a back up of less than 2 hours in balance mode. In the specification it is mentioning 4 hours back up. I don't know how to get 4 hours back up. Battery back up is a big issue with lenovo laptops. Just google it you can find what people are saying about lenovo battery back up. Key board make is also poor. Never go for lenovo. You will get the same spec device of asus model search in fipkart. Asus F202E-CT148H VivoBook (3rd Gen Ci3/ 4GB/ 500GB/ Win8/Touch) . It is rigid and performance is far better than lenovo in terms of battery and computational terms.

Really Happy

I was a bit skeptical while going for this laptop. And after a week of reading reviews from Flip-kart and other sites; i finally decided to buy this product. The laptop is really good. I am a software engineer and it fulfills all my needs like office work, a few hours of internet browsing, watching movies etc. The configuration is really good. And I need to tell you about the touch ......................................................................... It is really awesome .. Guys i would really recommend for a windows 8 machine with touch, It really eases the interaction with the system. And on top of it; The Flip-kart service was really good.

A very good laptop in this budget

First I got this in less then 30K under GOSF offer and can say it was a steal deal. Few good things: 1. Screen is good , quite bright and viewing angle is also good. 2. Touch is smooth and responsive. 3. Performance and speed is also good. Haven't tested any games or anything but with normal surfing and photoshop it was good. 4. Battery life is decent not very extraordinary though. I will go on for 2.5 hours for average use. 5. Its very light weight Something bad : 1. Keyboard is not very good. It feels loose when you press any key. 2. Touchpad is also not very great. 2 buttons with touchpad are not that smooth. 3. It just have 2 USB ports that's lil limiting in case you have few usb gadgets to connect but a USB hub is a easy solution to this. In short its a good small touch laptop with win8.

Not good

Battery drains in no time. Eats lots of data for unknown reasons.
