The Lenovo IdeaPad Z50 (59-442262) is a powerful gaming laptop available at a decent price. It has all the power to handle intensive games on an excellent display but misses out any user friendly OS and an optical drive in order to keep the price under control.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Z50 (59-442262) flaunts a 15.6-inch full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) TN GL Slim display which offers superior response and enhanced brightness along with ultra sharp image quality and vibrant colours. It is wrapped in a premium looking silver coloured body which has a thickness of 25mm and a weight of 2.4kg.

Processor and OS

Doing duty under the hood is a 1.7GHz Intel Core i5 processor from the recently released fifth generation series. It is aided by a standard 4GB DDR3 RAM which is further expandable up to 16GB via two DIMM slots. It lacks any OS which is a bit disappointing amidst such powerful specs.
