I got this laptop at 27700/- (after a 10% cash back offer). Pros: 1. Great build quality (Z580 is one of the best selling models all over the world) 2. DOS means lower price and independence to chose your own OS (I run Ubuntu on it - it runs great!) 3. Absolutely no heating problem even after running continuously for 8 hours 4. Plus: USB 3.0, Good Touchpad, Dedicated numeric keypad, Dust cleaning functionality of fan, Dolby Digital Sound 5. Best Ci3 enabled laptop at sub 30k range 6. I got 3 Yrs extended warranty as part of Lenovo Diwali offer. Cons: 1. 2GB RAM is insufficient for most 64 bit OS and applications these days. Plus it has no free slot to upgrade. 2. Unfortunately the amazing aluminium body Z580 model is not available at this config/price. Note: If you want to install Windows 7 on this, use the Wireless drivers for Windows 8 from Lenovo support site. The driver provided for W7 doesn't work for its wireless card.
Never buy this ....It's not worth spending at all ....Jus looks n nothing else it can do ...
I have been using this product for 5 months now , i think am entitled to share my views on this particularly awesome product. First of all lets talk about the looks of the laptop,it feels very premium & gives a distinct uber cool vibe. the build quality is sturdy & solid and there are no quacks of sound in the unit . the battery backup is 3.5 hours for my unit on a full charge . The screen is truly amazing & the sound bar is super loud if you are watching a movie ,then,it feels like you are sitting in a theater.Its the perfect laptop at a perfect price . Now for flipkart i am happy with their service as always ....i don shop now ...i flipkart it.
