User Reviews for LG 42LB550A 42 inch (106 cm) LED Full HD TV

32 L.G. LED was ordered by me on Billion Day Sale and it was delivered to me on 11.10.2014. The person who delivered the TV advised not to get it installed by third person. He told that a representative from LG shall arrive shortly and open the packing and install the TV else Company will not be responsible for defects if any.nNobody has turned up yet, though its 25th of October today.

Before reviewing the product, let me explain other stuffs.nn - The exchange offer flipkart quotes is applicable only if you are in bangalore or certain places very near to the warehouse. So as a buyer from chennai, i was not able to avail the exchange offern - Flipkart's ekart logistics does not handle the delivery for these products unless you are from banglore. So expect a 3 or 4 day delay in delivery of the product if not ordering from banglore. Packaging was top notch.nnnWhy I like the product:n - Worth the price. You won't get a 32 inch HD Tv at this price in similar reputed brands like Sony, Samsung.n - Product looks stylish.n - Sound is decent for a smaller room. Connect to an external speaker if you are going to fit this in a very larger room.n - Comes with an internal shock protection engine.(Still recommend to buy a voltage stabilizer)n - Metallic matte finish adds a premium feel.n nWould have been better:n - If file navigation was more user friendly. Tough to navigate across my external Hard Disk when connected with the TV.n - Could have provided a HDMI cable in the package.n - Remote is plain and lacks few basic buttons. Not so user friendly.n - A full HD option available in LG at a price slightly higher than this modeln nAfter Sales service:n - You get immediate response with in a day from LG service team if you are from a metro.nnIts subjective though. But here are my ratings to this product.nPackaging :10/10nDelivery(Timeliness) : 7/10 : nValue for money : 9/10nLooks : 9/10nSound : 7/10nInterface : 5/10nAfter Sales service : 8/10

Guys... no service from LG company, please think before you buy in Flipkart. Even if for installation LG service is charging 800/- plus taxes. and also they they are charging mount wall stand. If you buy out side, no changes from installation and stand. My TV delivered on 25th April, Flipkart said within 24-48 hours Service engineer will come from Flipkart owned service, but no, even after 60 hours i given one more request, they said this time pakka 24hours, again they failed to provide service and again i one more after 24 hours same results. SO guys hardly you will save 1K , so my recommendations try to avoid from flipkart. Regards... Srinivas

Cheers to Flipkart and LGnnI ordered this LED @ 11:30 PM (night) and got it next day @ 11:00 AM. Bang on time.nLED is just amazing...elegant and a quality product. Far better than Sony and Samsung.nIts giving an amazing and stylish look to my room.nnThe installation was done on the same day within 3 hours and that too without any problem.nI felt that I bought this product from a regular dealer not from a website. Everything was so smooth.nThank you Flipkart and LG for their service.
