I purchased this air conditioner a few weeks back. Works like a charm. It is quite silent in operation and cools the average size room within few minutes (as was expected by me). LG has lived up to its brand name. Absolutely no complaints about this air conditioner. Electricity consumption is as expected from a high performance machine like this. The compressor cuts in and cuts out very smoothly. The cut in/cut out of the compressor is barely audible. A highly efficient air conditioner which is easy to install and performs very well.
