moderate phone

I bought this phone in may 2011 it gave an excellent experiance till june it did not give any problem at all around july it gave startup problems but it became alright it did not give any probvlems as mentioned in the above reviews the phone is very fast there is no problem in playing high end games etc.. but it does not have any resell value some shops say we dont take micromax so i say dont buy this phone on an overall experiance some apps dont work cause they require android 2.2 and 150mb of internal space is not enough for a good user we cant install apps to the sd card whereas in a phone which can be upgradable to 2.2 we can. pllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeee ddddooooonnnnnnnnntttttttttttt bbbbbbbbbbbbuuuuuuuuyyyyyyy ttttttttttttttthhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiissssssssssssss pppppppppphhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooonneeee plese plllesse pleesssssse.........

A nice phone

Hi everyone.. i bought this phone last month, Feb 8th and am quite satisfied with this phone and its features.nEvery feature mentioned here works perfectly.nThe only thing is that every micromax phone takes a long 3hr to show BATTERY FULL.

Worth for what you pay

Video - WorstnCamera - WorstnBuild - AveragenBattery backup - OknDisplay - Average (280 x 320)nApplications - Good (Thanks to android market)nOperating system - One of the best I have used, although its just android 2.1nn-------------------------------------------------------------nnReview -nnI purchased this phone couple of months back and wanted to post a review from long. One should buy this phone only if s/he likes to get a gist of android, as we cant expect the great performance on this phone. nnAlthough it comes with a resistive screen, its quite responsive and does not lag. The back panel seems to be little loose which disturbs the contact between the battery and the phone terminals. Due to this the phone switches off abruptly and does not come back up by pressing the ON key. We have to remove the battery, place it back and turn on. nAlthough i had seen the reviews which read the above issue. I dared to buy this mobile and guess what!! I faced the same problem the very next day and was frustrated for buying this crap phone. A small investigation on this issue lead me find the cause and I wish the users of this phone try it and see if this works for them.nnIssue - There is some sort of thin coating on the battery terminals and I believe its non-metallic which looses the connection. I removed the coating using a blade on both the terminals (phone and battery). I also placed a thick paper over the battery before placing the back panel to ensure the battery does move again. Trust me the phone did not switch off then on unless I intended to do so ;) nn--------------------------------------------------------------nnWhy buy this phone?nn1) Androidn2) Cheapn n--------------------------------------------------------------nnWho should not buy this phone?nnDo not buy this phone if you want to browse or use any web applications like maps, gmail, facebook etc frequently/always. Using these apps will drain the battery very fast.nn--------------------------------------------------------------nnWhat should i do improve the battery backup?nn1) Turn off the gps, wi-fi, data connectivity. n2) Set the screen brightness to low/medium.n3) Do not use the animated screen savers.n4) Keep checking for running apps and stop the ones that you aren't using.n5) Turn off the vibration.nnOr keep it in showcase. He he he ;) nnTo get the fun of apps on mobile/from android market you need to sit at home with charger connected to phone.nnThank you...,

Problem with the Android OS not with the battery

Saw so many reviews criticizing A60 for its poor battery backup. My dad owns a Samsung Galaxy Fit (worth Rs. 10000), which also suffers from the same. I installed him task killer apps, some customization, and now his battery lasts for a complete day, given that he talks more time. Basically Android will be loaded with many apps which cause the battery to drain fast. If we turn off unnecessary apps, every thing will just be fine. For Rs. 4400, you cannot expect to have a HTC or Lumia. A60 is the best buy in the market. For Rs. 4000, you get a touch screen, Android, 600 MHz processor, 3G 7.2Mbps, WI-Fi, GPS and a brilliant 3.2 mp camera. Of course it has its own drawbacks (Great connectivity but poor multimedia), I accept, but for Rs. 4000, you can not have whatever you want. "
