Display and Design
The Motorola Moto 360 (2nd Gen) is an upgrade of Motorola Moto 360 and hence comes with some significant changes. The smartwatch is circular in shape and sports 1.37-inch touchscreen LCD display with a screen resolution of 360 x 325 pixels, resulting in a sharp pixel density of 354ppi. The screen is protected by scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass v3. It comes in a metal body and leather strap while the crown appears at 2 o'clock position. The phone measures 46mm in size and is available in multiple colours.
Configuration and OS
The second generation of Moto 360 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU processor coupled with 512MB RAM which lets you smoothly operate the device. The smartwatch offers a lot of flexibility as it can be connected with both Android and iOS-powered devices.
Connectivity, Battery and Storage
To get access to your contacts, apps, notifications and messages of your smartphone, all you need is to connect using Bluetooth. The Moto 360 (2nd Gen) also supports Wireless 802.11, b/g connectivity. The smartphone is backed by a 300mAh li-polymer battery which lasts up to a day as claimed by the manufacturer. The watch houses an internal memory of 4GB which is not expandable.
Other Features
Like its older sibling, the smartwatch is water and dust resistant and comes with Accelerometer, Gyro and Light sensors. It keeps track of your heart rate and your steps as well. In addition, it also comes with a built-in pulse sensor feature.
