@ vipin malik you are noob bro......

MSI GP60 this way better than your Asus 550LD. your Asus 550LD has inferior processor clock speed , inferior display , inferior gpu , less battery backup, offer free dos to cut cost whereas msi has windows 8.1 .msi gp60 offers killer lan and steel series keyboard. indeed msi gp60 has 4gb ram but u can buy ram stick and increase ram (till 16 gb max ). msi gp60 comes with 2 year onsite warranty whereas asus has 1 year onsite warranty. vipin either you are a asus fanboy or a noob gamer.

Unrealistic pricing

I dont see the allure of this "gaming" laptop, it has really sub par specs. The GT840M is DDR3 variant, which is the same as Lenovo Z-50.70 laptops at Rs43,000 and lets not forget that THAT Lenovo model is mid segment mainstream laptop while this is a "GAMING laptop". The Lenovo model also comes with the same 4GB DDR3 module , slightly smaller HDD and a UltraLow Power version of Core i5. For approximately Rs20,000 more for GP60 - 1) You are getting a better full HD 1080p display 2) 250GB more storage 3) Fancy keyboard, which is still inferior to most laptop keyboards from Alienware and Razer 4) Great build quality, with more portable form factor. What you lose- 1) A dedicate optical disk drive 2) Superior after sales service of Lenovo So remember, the Graphical performance on a Rs 43,000 Lenovo Z-50.70 and Rs 65,000 MSI GP60 will be almost IDENTICAL.

OVERPRICED!

Update:nnShould be priced less than 48,000. This is after comparing other 40-45k laptops with i5 4210U, 840M, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD and FHD screen. Don't buy it for current price. Get Force 16GC or Sager NP6659 (Clevo W650SC) from Xotic PC.nnDON'T BUY ANY OF THE OVERPRICED LAPTOPS FROM MSI.nnPrevious Opinion:nnDon't get confused with noobs comparing this Laptop with laptops offering ULV i7 (4500U) and GT 820M at same price. nThe i5 4200H is better than the i7 4500U performance wise and the educated illiterate compared GT 820m of Asus X550LD-XX082D with the GT 840m in this one  nThe hard disk could have been 1 TB and RAM 2x4 GB instead of 2x2 GB. nWould be great if they provide a free HDD/RAM upgrade. :D nOne star less because of no backlit keyboard. -_-

I have a question

As shown in the picture here in flipkart the back side of the screen should not be plain. It should have a 2 curves or you can say lines with ROG written in between. Is the actual product same as shown.
