Display and Battery

The MSI GV62 8RD-034 laptop comes with a screen size of 15.6-inch, along with full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It also has an LED-backlit IPS display that further adds to the quality of the screen. 

The device charges itself from a Li-ion 6 cell battery that gives it a good backup. You can comfortably work for hours depending on the battery. 

Build and Storage 

It is available in a black colour body and is little on the heavy side with 2.2Kg. For the input peripherals, it has a backlit keyboard with gaming function and a touchpad with multi-touch gestures enabled. It comes with the Windows 10 operating system out of the box. 

The device gets a massive storage capacity of 1TB HDD that works at a speed of 5400 RPM. It also has an SSD capacity of 128GB. Altogether it can store all your files and multimedia. 

Configuration and Connectivity 

It is powered by Intel Core i7-8750H (8th Gen) processor, along with a clock speed of 1.8GHz. It gets a chipset from Intel HM370 Express. The graphics is handled by a 4GB dedicated processor from NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti. It also gets a RAM capacity of 8GB DDR4 type that works at a speed of 2400MHz. 

For the connectivity section, it has a wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, a Bluetooth v4.2, an SD card reader and one USB 2.0 slot.
