This AC was purchased on 2nd June and is a defective piece. I have been trying since June 2015 to take care of the problem. Technician visited and said your transformer is defective. I replaced the transformer but the problem is not solved. The persons sitting on the customer care helpline are so negligent and careless they don't acknowledge the problem. Recently on 22nd August same problem was reported and after numerous reminders 1 engineer visited after 10 days and assured for replacing the defective part within 2 days but he also disappeared and no one is responding from Onida. There is no use of purchasing the A/c of such a reputed brand who claims to be one of the best service provider in the industry. I alarm all the buyers to refrain from this brand.

2 months into the AC and I am wondering why I purchased it. The AC is not cooling and even after numerous phone calls, shouting matches (from me) all of that and yet their service center is not bothered to send a technician to check or call back. 3 days after i placed a complaint and called like a 100 times to everyone possible - i have a spiked blood pressure and this sorry excuse of an AC - best part Onida guys snooze on my complaints. Do not purchase this AC... and if you are adventurous i will be happy to offload the elephant i am holding

I have been a Flipkart fan customer mostly, always punching in my shopping needs on the flipkart search bar, before even thinking of buying it offline. That's the trust i had on Flipkart. But everything seems changed now. I ordered the Onida 1 ton split AC on May 13th, which was delivered to me on 15th May. Till that it was all fine. However, the installation was a pathetic service, where the installation guys dug a big hole in my wall, which was visible even after the AC was fitted. And the workmanship was all missing as the installation guy was ready to leave my place with the AC only semi fitted to the wall (I video recorded most of the installation noticing the bad workmanship). They also left my wall utterly dirty, which i had to get repainted! Next, the AC was faulty with it's timer not working. I notified Flipkart of this fact and asked for replacement, ALONG with the fact that the installation guys had cut the AC boxes to take the receipts with them (as part of their duty) and i have only remains of the boxes with me. The AC was uninstalled from my place around 1st week of June, where the uninstallation guy removed only the indoor and outdoor unit, leaving all pipes and wired as they were. The replacement AC was scheduled to be delivered to me on June 5, 2015, for which i received a call in the morning and i confirmed that it could be delivered on that day. However, it was not delivered to me. Same thing happened on June 11, 2015. Rolling on, it was finally delivered to me on June 21. Almost 3 weeks after my complaint!! And then, the installation people call me and ask for the installation charges to be paid again. I call up flipkart and confirm if the charges have to be paid by me (logically, I should not be paying for it, since it's a replacement AC). They confirm I do not need to pay them. Installation people call me again to say I will have to pay, and I have to call up flipkart again, to which the representative (Imran) confirms that I should pay installation charges and get it refunded from Flipkart, and he apologized for all convenience and assure that things would be done within 24 hours (something that Flipkart always says, but does NOT mean it, I have realized). It has been 4days since the conversation with Imran, and there has been no installation yet. ONE and a HALF MONTH LONG PROCESS TO GET AN AC FITTED! And it is still not done!! Was it a mistake trusting Flipkart with this responsibility!!! I have wasted a lot of time on Flipkart, and I DO NOT WISH TO TAKE THIS FORWARD ANYMORE. Flipkart cannot be trusted anymore and you can see this as the end of my association with flipkart. Thank you for creating innumerable troubles for a customer!! TOTAL COST SPENT Bought it for 22990... Again for stabilizer (1500rs) and installation (1500) i had to pay... So total cost is 26000 appox.... I wont get such ac in market for such a low price... Comparatively i saved 4000rs. INSTALLATION Recived the product on the 3rd day from date of purchase. Service person frm onida service center called me the nxt day and was installed on the 5 th day.... Guys its wise to buy 3 pin 16 ams plug b4 calling the service men for installation..... PERFORMANCE it comes with copper coil, which s added advantage.... Remote has a led light display, so u need not to switch on light in night time.... Cooling is awesome... No probs in it.... Indoor unit comes with no noise but condenser noise level is bearable. CONS No control over horizontal swing in remote. Only vertical swing can be controlled using remote. Initially it takes little time to cool the complete room. Once it does. Its ok...

I'm an online regular buyer but hesitated to buy such a huge heavy product like Split A/c, since having thought of damages and delay in delivery due to size matters, etc... Unfortunately I had some poor experience with my local show room dealer for my last ac purchased (few days back, Onida 1.5 ton S123SMH-N), who didn't fulfill my desires regarding specific model with Wifi options and changed to this model as per his stock and installed the ac. I later come to know this and compensated with installation charges. Hence, this time I googled everywhere and finally to go on with this model on Flipkart. I placed order (Rs 23490) on 14th Feb 2016, Sunday 6:30pm and got delivered on 16th Feb by 2:00pm as committed by Flipkart and also got installed on same day by 6:30. It was unbelievable for me as it couldn't be possible even if I had bought from local vendor. All credit goes to Flipkart and WS Retail for their tremendous support. About Ac's Performance : I'm really satisfied with this Ac's performance which cools very fast my room of 120sqft. Noise level is very low for both indoor and out door units. Power consumption is yet to asses but I'm using about 4 or 5 hours a day which wouldn't hike the consumption. Another reason to go on this ac is it's price with copper condenser. Other ac's are very high than this with aluminum condenser. Finally a great product from Onida. Thanks
