I’m a 24 year old with a passion for photography who needed a camera that shoots good quality pictures & acceptably good video. Being on a budget (and as I simply don’t have the time nor the energy to carry a DSLR kit everywhere), I decided on a point & shoot with advanced features. And this camera fitted the bill perfectly. This is totally amazing camera with all features what I actually want.

The zoom of this camera is great, you won't find such zoom capability in any other camera of similar price. The overall handling is easy and features provided are useful. nThe view screen has just 460K dots which in my opinion is insufficient. nCurrently I am experimenting with with video recording, the initial results have been satisfactory. But the zoom can not be used while recording video.n Lumix LZ30 is a good bridge camera and if you can spend around 13K bucks then go for it, its total value for money.

Great value for money. Yes optical zoom can b used for video recording.The only gripe I have is the absence of lithium ion battery. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars... Anyone looking for a budget point and shoot with great zoom can go for it eyes closed

dont go for it .the onlt good thing it has is zoom .rest is waste poor clarity in picture.very poor at low light.in the whole bad choice.It take too much time between each clicks basically a slow camera.no good clarity.every feature is a negetive just zero out of 5
