Ricoh Aficio SP 100SU Multi Function Laser Printer

This is a budget printer, got it and am using it all is good, there was a problem with the fact that the paper was not always accepted in the printer, called flipkart- they didnt knew how to solve the problem due to lack of tech support- Emailed Ricoh Company, no one responded..nnPS: for paper feed problem here how to solve:nSteps to solve your problemnn1) Install ricoh SP 100 printer using printer CD.n2) Go to Start - Setting - Printer & faxesn3) Right Click on installed ricoh SP 100 printer & click on propertiesn4) Click on paper size & Advance options in top buttons row.n5) Click on Smart organizing monitor ( Left bottom corner)n6) Click on User Tools.n7) Click on Printer configurationsn8) Click on Printern9) on this page you will get Sub paper size. Set it ON.n10) Apply & Save all setting.n11) Try to print from your computer you don't need to press form feed button

This is my first printer. nDelivery from flipkart and packing were excellent. nBut this rating is for the product. nMy requirement was to take printout of typed notes (for my sister) - mostly 2 sided (2 sides per page). nI struggled for the first 2 hrs with the printer removing the paper from the inside which frequently used to get stuck in the printer. Most of the times the first one side prints fine (Even here 70% of the time, the printer wont accept the paper from the input tray). nSo this is the final statistics:n nPages printed succesfully (2 sided) - 217 and wasted paper count 170 papers :)nPages printed succesfully (1 sided) - 20 and wasted paper count 1 . So this is good for one sided printing. But why should you need a laser printer, if it is not for bulk printing. nStarted the print job at 5 am in the evening and had to sit with it till 2am in the morning to to complete the work.. nQuality of print is good (that is, when it prints ) nOne more thing to note is that output tray is not big enough to hold the printed paper coming out of the printer. (Tip: keep a light weight cardboard sheet on top of the tray to increase it's size) nTip 2: Duplex printing is a nightmare with this printer. Still you may find these TIPS useful na. Dont print more than 20 pages in one shot.nb. The paper coming out of the printer will have a curve (or bent as if rolled by hand). Take the full set of out put paper, roll it the other way to straighten the bend and then place only these papers properly in the input tray. nAfter thought: I should have ordered a better printer :(nnEDIT:nnI am fed up of this damn printer. If anybody would buy it for Rs 2500, I am willing to sell it... But remember this is a showcase piece... :(
