awesome product... but some info about this product is wrong and incomplete also graphics driver is Nvidia Geforce GT 520MX not 520M.... 520MX is newer and faster than 520M... it has 3 usb port...... Here is my windows7 experience index Processor: 6.5 Memory(RAM): 5.9 Desktop Graphics:5.0 Gaming Graphics:6.5 Hard disk: 5.9 it's performance is superb; battery backup is more than 5 hours, gaming performance is awesome; screen is awesome... i played battlefield 3 ; call of duty modern warfare 3 and fifa 12 with high quality settings. no con... but it's back colour design could be better...compared to dell and hp
This is a very brilliant laptop. Very good specifications. 100% worth the price. Points to be noted: PROS: -Good keyboard and touchpad (noisy touchpad buttons) -4 gigs of RAM and ofcourse 1 gig of 520MX (better, not 520M) video memory -Unbelievable battery backup -i3 is enough even for gamers (i5 is just for the heck of it, doesn't make much of a difference for most people), its all about video memory which is ample for medium graphics on FPS/action/sports and best graphics on strategy games -brilliant set of drivers and tools supplied by Samsung -worldwide warranty, pickup and drop service in metros and big cities -Awesome speakers and sound card on board -Fingerprint resistant keys -Anti-reflective display that works -Touchpad lock key is included CONS: -Webcam not too good even if HD, quite grainy but just about ok for video calls -Screen is not a Samsung marvel, just about average. But this is the best you get for the price. -Hard disk is only 5800 RPM -No S-Video port to connect to old TVs, only LCDs/LEDs/Plasmas can be connected through HDMI -No PCI express slots for attaching TV tuners, external lan/sound cards (you can use USB based TV tuners though -Viewing angle is quite narrow, video blurs too fast if you move about (atleast you'll sit straight :) ) -No freebies at all :(
i had done my part of the research and came up with this laptop as my final choice..i ordered this from flipkart today..this is absolutely the best laptop out there at this price pros: 1.the configuration-i3(2nd gen),4gb ram, also a 1 gb nvidia card 2.price-this saves you more than 3k if you buy this laptop, as compared to other laptops providing similar configuration at a higher price 3.style and appearance- to be true i really like the appearance of this laptop with the dual tone (silver black) and the neatly laid out Chiclet keyboard cons: though in reality there is no con i would say maybe just free dos as the os ..but it wont be a con for the most of you as you can put up an os of your choice will surely write a review when i receive this device
Got this laptop delivered in just 26 hrs of ordering it Display is awesome. Able to run COD 2 ModrenWarfare (11 Gb Game) easily. Battery backup ia also good of more than 5 hrs on windows7 and 3hrs+ over linux. Only problem with this is no light for capslock and numpad..
This notebook computer is a good one for its price. But those who speak highly of the GPU,well the GT520 is just an entry level GPU. Its not meant for high level gaming(it wont play BF3,the witcher 2 etc at a decent fps at low settings.But again,U SHOULDN'T EXPECT A GAMING LAPTOP AT 30K!) Certain Dell Inspiron variants at this price range provide the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v,(which would be a bit better than gt520 performance wise),2.4ghz i3,Windows 7 and 15 months free McAfee subscription. This laptop should have had a preloaded operating system. But apart from that,its outstanding at its price. I mean,640 gb HDD,4gb RAM,a dedicated graphics card and 6 hours battery backup at 30k is great!
