Well, AMD 1.6 is so slow, it seems i am running a 386 some 15 years back. Thought about gifting my niece this laptop, what a shock i was in the first couple of days when i got this one, rather than the gift laptop was always lying with me, for something or the other stops working... mood swings... :) it seems.nnThen this laptop has problems identifying drivers, just in case if you put in a wrong driver, it doesnt boot up, just like a gff, u then have to wait and wait sometimes 2-3 days when the screen pops up or else its blank, although i did managed to fix the driver issue, thanks to my techie brain but for most of u, this piece would have been dud.nnPlease do not buy this product, pay an extra few bucks and get a Dell Vostro, infact Toshiba in probably the same range as samsung is not that bad either.
