I had purchased this model TV exactly year back (worth 36,000), ie last January - 2014. Now Its display LEDs are gone, I asked samsung support for replacing that part alone because my warranty period of year is elapsed. nnThe service engineer said, It costs around Rs 16, 500 and also part replacement is not possible, we need to replace complete display panel. nnThey gave me 2 options,n 1. Replacing part with 20% offer price but the warranty will be just 3 monthsn 2. Replacing part without any discounts and the warranty will be of 1 year.nnIts really worst to invest this big amount for a year of use. Please think twice before buying any of LED TV s as its not worthy and have long run like our old days CRT TV s.
Please don't buy this tv. After only 14 months the led panel is gone. The engineer says it will cost 16000 to replace it and the guarantee will be only on that replaced part for one year. Seriously this much money is not worth for one year. Go for sony or other brands which provide way better products and long life( well longer than this one).nP.S. Had to give 1 rating as its min. possible.:P
I bought this TV mid July of this year (2015) from a Samsung showroom and recently a lot of small black patches appeared on the screen. I gave a complaint to customer service and they ensured same day inspection (kudos to Samsung CS) and the service engineer in a split second said panel is defective and started processing for a free in warranty replacement. The fact that he didn't try to wipe the screen with a cleaner proves that this model has a defective screen and is wide spread.nAnyways, the Samsung customer care has promised to refund my money. Lets see!! Will update this post soon.
I bought this TV 23-MAR-2014 for 36K. The product is now out of warranty. All of a sudden the Display of the TV went Black but audio is fine. When contacted Samsung service they said the LED panel is gone and it will cost me 14,000 Rupees fix it. In order to inspect the TV they are charging 600 + 14% Vat extra. Samsung is not ready to give any concession on this as they keep on saying that the product is out of warranty. But if a 15 months old TV is met with such big fault, I'm not sure what the quality of the Product they are manufacturing is. Most frustrating reply from Samsung is that these things will happen in electronic product? They don't seem to be care about the quality of the product they sell at all. In fact when I bought this TV I was told that there is no need of buying an additional voltage stabilizer as the TV has got an inbuilt one. But I did buy a voltage stabilizer and connected it to the TV. In spite of all these the product went fault. NEVER EVER GO FOR THIS PRODUCT.
I had purchased this model TV exactly year back (worth 36,000), ie last July - 2014. After only 7 months Its display LEDs are gone. The samsung engineer came & replaced the parts as it was under warranty. Now again after 6 months the panel had gone.nnThe service engineer said, It costs around Rs 16, 500 and also part replacement is not possible, we need to replace complete display panel. After replacing also there is no warranty for the new panel.. one of the worst buys don't buy samsung TVs. Poor in quality & worst in after sales service..
