I BOUGHT THIS LAP 3 DAYS BEFORE.IT GOT THE MAXIMUM SPECIFICATIONS FOR THIS PRICE.nnAND ALSO WHEN I ADDED 4 GB EXTRA RAM IT GOT REALLY AWSM.nnWITH BACK-LIGHT KEYBOARD,IT MAKES THIS LAP LITTLE MORE SHINING AND VERY USEFUL AT DIM LIGHT.nnONLY PROBLEM IS THE BATTERY BACK UP.JUST 2.5 HRS.CANT BE USED PLENTY WHILE ON A JOURNEY.nnSILVER GIVES MORE VIEW THAN BLACK.MAKES IT DIFFERENT.nnCOMPARING ALL LAPTOPS AT THIS RANGE THIS IS THE BEST ONE.nnI LOVED IT.
A very nice laptop & has got the best configuration and looks good when its silver in colour .nnPROS-nvery powerful processor - 2.2 ghz with 3.2 turbo boost with 4 gb ddr3 ram ncrystal clear graphics - 2gb AMD radeon hdnhigh quality sound by xLOUD and clear phase technologynos - win 8 64 bitnnCONS-nthe battery bacup is not sufficient which is 2.5 hrs .Its must be 4 hrs .nnthe storage capacity is quite sufficient(750gb) .n nif the battery backup is increased then its gonna be the best laptop at this price.
I brought this laptop 2 years ago and uptill now its best for work and gaming too.The only con is its battery backup. Its only 2.5 hrs.
outstanding and super fast processor with suitable memory and graphics card. nothing to describe for sony vaio... they are ultimate....
I m using i5 model of this series with same gpu, storage capacity n RAM. Performance is fast enough all d time. All 3rd n 4th gen vaios has unbeatable sound system. No matter u listen with the headphone or play on d speakers... Speakers r so powerful that u can play at max sound in vlc without distortion. This i7 processor seems really powerful coz it has 6mb cashe which is rare these days. CPU clockspeed is upto 3.2ghz which is also very handy. Only drawback is AMD GPU which is slightly weaker than NVIDIA 740m of the F-series. Bt keep in mind that CPUs in E-series are significantly more powerful than F-series. As far as my knowledge E-series laptops r customizable so u can replace the stock GPU with better one. Talking about battery life my i5 model easily lasts 3hrs or even more with normal use. Keep in mind that these high performance processors r not very good at power efficiency. Specially if u r comparing with F-series u'll b disappointed. A good portable powerbank is a perfect solution to fix battery issues.
