This model i purchased last year it's now about to 1 year.I am a game freak previous i have dell vostro that's one not a bad laptop but when i saw this laptop such a low price i find more comfortable position i don't want to went to other recommend laptops by my friends which were also at low price e.g-Samsung,Acer,ASUS but i was very much sure i did not like those laptop brand because samsung and asus are new to market in that time and i enticed with 1 GB graphics card many people said AMD not referable as compared NVIDIA but i must say what gaming experience nice one in such a low price but i problem with this laptop linux is not working when i want to switch myself in linux OS but as a whole if want low price gaming experience this is best flawless performance last 1 year clock speed is good but now to switch to other new gaming laptops mission accomplished but 1 **** easy advice this was priced 29500 around last year in flipkart when i purchased in local market this laptop i increased my RAM to 4 GB with paying another 1000 rs so friends always look for better option in low pricennGOOD LUCK
It's one of the best offer from sony but it almost took a week to locate the drivers also drivers are not available for win 8 64bit. Best features like gesture control ,amd catalyst, vaio care doesn't work .also web camera is in b&w. nnn""SO BETTER BUY THE SAME SPECIFICATION WITH WINDOWS 8 PRE-INSTALLED""
I purchased this laptop, hoping drivers for other versions of Linux like RHEL and Fedora will be available. It has been almost 10 days since I have purchased, I am struggling to find the drivers. Sony has told drivers for Linux are not with them. In such case, Manufacturers should say,that do not recommend Linux .... Types as they recommend Windows whenever they sell it alongwith it. Can some one help me in getting drivers for Linux versions of RHEL and Fedora
Thought it to be a good deal wen bought in DOS version, but then installing drivers was a big challenge as driver cd was not provided along with the lappy and online Sony Centre for drivers has a pathetic search facility. Drivers are not easy available ( for that matter, I couldnt find the driver here n had to depend on other sites for it) Sound is poorer than Dell and touchpad feels more plastic, rather than metallic and smooth (like Dell).. Was very happy with Dell untill after 5 yrs, decided to try Sony Vaio but m seriously regretting my decision now.But in the end, taste varies so would recommend to have a hands on on both products before buying Vaio and see the difference yourself. Waiting for something good to explore in it, before I throw it away out of anger....
i bought this laptop from FLIPKART this is a awesome laptop..you can buy this.... i use it. still no problem i have faced....only once that it have no driver cd so you have to download it from sony site if u want to use win7 or 8 something...... u can install windows 8.1pro x64 its running smoothly.... i recommended it.....it have a 1gb graphic card so charge will running low quickly..... and its make a little bit hit thats all
