This notebook is having great configuration at reasonable price (Rs. 45990) along with brand name of Sony which is famous for making good looking solid build quality lappys. Although Full HD LED screen, full keyboard, Dedicated Graphics memory and 1 TB 7200 rpm hard drive are surely missed. Kindly mention the system architecture i.e whether it is 32 bit or 64 bit... Also,it is requested to flipkart to start the delivery of shipments worth Rs. 10000 and above in the state of Uttar pradesh. I would also like to give sincere thanks to my friend shankar dayal who assisted me in receiving the delivery of the product at his home in Patna. Flipkart delivered to him in the evening of 16th July at Patna merely 1 hour before boarding the train. I have got the laptop from him in the morning of 17th july at Lucknow. Lot of Thanks to Both of You. POST PURCHASE-- (1) Well, i have got this laptop and it has a 64 bit operating system. (2) Battery Backup is very good. it is giving around 4-4.5 hrs of back up. (3) Net Browsing is quicker. Certainly here, you will feel a difference between i-5 and i-7 processors. (3) Never shows any sign of sluggishness upon opening too many tab windows.
Guys, I have bought this laptop a month back and truly satisfied with it. Initially this laptop was for Rs 58000 but somehow prices slash down to 46000. Pros: i7 processor. Can't get in any other laptop within same price range. 64 bit architecture. Good battery back up. (3-4 hours) Product finishing is awesome and Sony Build quality is up to the mark. Nice sound clarity. No heating problem. Gesture control on trackpad. Trackpad is big and very responsive. Original Windows 7 professional loaded. Cons: A bit on heavy side compared to Dell series. I have bought this laptop... its one of best buy... I am really impress with Sony Laptop function and other features. After coming to know that SONY has stopped the manufacturing Laptop from company. I bought this product... and i was happy to opt.. a perfect decision. Thanks for Flipkart support and service... its awesome... Great. Thanks
Thought the configuration is good but build quality is very average. From Day one the battery is loose even after locking, and panels are loosely fitted. I am in a fix if this is standard E series quality or may be i got unlucky I am counting on Flipkart "Super Active customer care" to offer me a replacement or look into the matter
Sony is a trusted brand, but the pricing of the laptops has always been a pain. This laptop looks promising powering a 3rd gen i7 processor and must be fast, but I still feel the price has been hyped. There are more tech powered laptops out in the market which certainly should grab more attentions than the SVE14117GNB . HP and Lenovo have certainly taken up the pace and the their
