Dear All,nnPlease never purchase anything from Flipkart.nIf anything happens they will take product back and never replace product neither money.nIts my own experience.nSince i purchase sony xperia ion, found its damaged. when i asked for replacement they told they will replace it & after sometime they took it back and never replaced with another. whenever i call them for matter, they will tell we are trying to solve. It happened from 2 months. Now they are telling we cannot do anything.nSo please never purchase from such a website who always give false guarantee.

I did not buy this phone from Flipkart, nevertheless I want to share my experience with this phone with other prospective buyers.nnPros:n-----n- Excellent 12MP Camera. Better than the one in any other phone. Pictures are of great clarity and quality.nn- PowerSaver is a good featurennCons:n-----n- Its been not even 3 months and my phone refused to get charged. Took it to the Sony authorized service center at Vadapalani, Chennai. The engineer checked the phone for 2 hours and asked me to submit the phone to them for deeper investigation! Then came the shock - I called them the next day and was informed that motherboard has to be replaced and this would take a minimum of 10 days time! The only consolation being the device is in warranty still!nn- The length of the usb cable that is provided for charging the phone is very very short. Have never seen such a short cable for any device before. Highly impractical designing.nn- Phone has a Micro HDMI port, but no cable is provided in the box. nn- The phone has 4 touch buttons at the bottom. One of them was not responding properly to taps! Beware of this defect. Check before you buy. nn- Does not come with access to Sony Entertainment Network (as told by the sales guy at Univercell - purchased it there). India is not in the list of those countries where access to Sony Entertainment Network is providednn- Also sensed a problem with bluetooth connecting to my car bluetooth system. Did not have the same problem with other phones.nn- Beware that the battery cannot be detached. Its a single unified body at the back

People dont look at the number of cores !!! It makes no difference as long as it is above 1Ghz and is a dual core. This phone is fast, it has a 12MP camera (awesome) !!! Sony's UI is just as good as HTC's. Also only sony and nokia are giving HDMI and USB OTG (on the go). Other phones have otg but the connector is yet not available in most cases ! Plus sony has made a xperia ion multimedia dock in which there is a port for power, a HDMI port and two usb ports !!! So this means if u hav a movie on your phone you can connect it to your tv to see it. If u have a movie on a pen drive or hard disk u can connect that also SIMULTANEOUSLY with the HDMI to the TV if ur tv doesnt have a USB port or even your DVD player. Dont just decide based on numbers people !!! See other functions as well !!

I brought it yesterday...it's excellent with all features and crystal clear camera,solid built,Full HD is heaven to watch,sound as usual SONY is the first,big screen n also it is slim,i would have given 100 stars but only 5 stars are available!!...Go for it n feel the difference:)
