We found that while cropping into wide landscape photos or busy city scenes, crisp details that would usually be lost were still retained.

Check out just how many images this 200MP shot can deliver:The large 1/1.56-inch sensor also pulls in plenty of light, which means even indoor shots or evening snaps look sharp and vibrant. What’s more, it is extremely impressive to see this level of clarity in a phone that fits so easily in my pocket.The standard Reno15 5G swaps this for a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor. While it may not have the sheer resolution of the Pro variants, it captures excellent detail and benefits from OPPO’s PureTone Technology. This tech works quietly in the background for all three phones, and it calibrates exposure and skin tones based on Indian lighting conditions, ensuring images look authentic and naturally balanced straight out of the camera.​The supporting lenses are equally capable. The 50MP ultra-wide camera on the Reno15 Pro variants maintains excellent colour consistency with the main shooter, which is often a weak point in other phones. Even the 8MP ultrawide sensor on the Reno15 delivers consistency with its primary camera.But the real surprise for me was the 50MP front camera, which is used across the board for the entire series. The autofocus comes in very handy for group shots, ensuring everyone appears sharp regardless of their distance from the lens. The wider 100-degree field of view makes framing large groups even easier without a selfie stick.

Nailing the perfect portrait

The hardware offers exceptional real-world performance, especially when it comes to portraits. The 50MP JN5 telephoto lens, which is consistent across the series, became my go-to shooter. It provides the classic 85mm focal length, which compresses the background beautifully and delivers flattering facial features. The depth control is fantastic, as it delivers a DSLR-like bokeh that separates the subject cleanly from the background.

The skin tone accuracy, in particular, was something that I was quite fond of. Whether we were shooting in harsh daylight or a dimly lit cafe, the processing retained natural skin texture while smoothing out blemishes in a way that feels authentic. Once you have the shot, the new Video Editing 2.0 lets you polish your footage quickly and intuitively right inside the default Photos app. This makes the entire workflow from capture to sharing completely seamless.

Performance that keeps up with you

The Reno15 series is built to handle everything from heavy multitasking to intense gaming without breaking a sweat.
