This one is a newly introduced Cricket Series Full HD LED TV. The old series is Toshiba P2305. Picture Clarity is Superb. Sound Clarity is Excellent. Volume is also good. This has Active Motion Rate AMR 200 Hz, which gives it an edge over normal LED TVs which has either 50 or 100 Hz. This AMR 200 feature avoids blurring of dynamic fast action movements. This is a simple TV without SMART and 3D Features which is not essential at all. I already have a LG Blue Ray Smart 3D DVD Player ( BP420). By connecting this player I converted my Toshiba 40L2400 TV to a SMART TV without any fuss. nnUSB plays almost all formats. Blue Ray Format only has low Volume. But not very low. I played a movie using my LG Blue Ray Player (BP420) also instead of the built in USB. Then also the Volume is low. Other formats Volumes are very high. I am happy about the USB feature as it plays around 28 Formats.nnToshiba 40L2400 has only 1 HDME, 1 RCA (Video and Audio- Yellow, Red, White) Input Jack , 1 Coaxial RF Antenna/Cable TV Connector. So I decided to buy a 3 or 5 Port HDMI Switcher to overcome shortage of HDMI Sockets. Surprisingly there is no Audio Out. If I have to connect a 2.1 or 5.1 Channel/ Sound Bar to the TV since there is no Audio Out we must use only the Dish Antenna / Cable TV Set Top Box Audio Output functions. All set top boxes have Optical Audio out and RCA Audio Out. Hence this problem is also solved.nnI am happy about the Picture Quality, Colour Quality of this set. As this model is already a proven model in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and USA (USA Model is slightly different with 2 HDMI ports - Ref: Amazon.com for 40L2400U Model) . Since this is a proven model elsewhere I went for this Model even though it has less number of HDMI Ports. This is not a very big constraint. nnI will give 4.5/5 for this TV as the Picture and Sound Quality are superb and as good as Top End Manufacturers like Sony, Samsung, LG etc. The price is only 60% of such Brands. Toshiba service is also good. The same day when Flipkart supplied the TV to me, Toshiba personnel came and installed the TV. This Model TV has only 1 Year Warranty unlike the old series P2305. May be I wish to seek an extended warranty by paying few thousands if they agree to that. nnFor the Price of 36 K this is certainly a worthy deal. One can definitely go for it. But, I bought it under 10% Cash Back Offer for SBI Card Holders which costed me still less in Flipkart under the Independence day offer.

Hi, nnI bought this TV 2 weeks back. Before buying this I went to 2-3 showrooms and go through different website. Picture clarity, Sound (With FULL HD) ...all are good. Best price with lot of features compare to other brands. For this model you get only 1 year warranty but if you want for 3 years you need to pay extra 800 rupees. Better to buy in Flipkart compare to other online stores better price and quick delivery.

Although , the tv is extremely good features,is well built and provides an amazing experience , yet the quality of service support is extremely pathetic. My uncle gifted this particular model to my mom, so I have first hand experience.nnThe tv display went black after just 6 months ,and when I called the customer support , they said the panel has malfunctioned ,and the same will be replaced, and that it would take 10 days to replace it. nnNow even after 25 working days , I'M yet to receive any panel or replacement. nnMy advice- buy the Tv for cheap price, good features, but don't expect any help from Toshiba India, if your Tv malfunctions. Only god can help you then

I bought Toshiba 40 L2400 from a local store in Delhi at same price as flipkart is giving. Delivery was quick (same day) and installation on next day. Good enough..n nI bought two years extended warranty but still waiting for warranty card from Toshiba; afraid on this as their website says that you need to register using warranty card within 15 days. Time has passed but no card ; so needs to see how it goes.nnOn quality of product ; it can not be compared with Japanese quality. Display is good but only with HD channels. so one can enjoy only 10-15 HD channels. Quality of SD channels is very bad. I feel difficult to read text on news channels . even color scheme is not good for SD channels. My old 21`inch CRT was giving much better viewing experience.Even though I am using tata sky still It`s very blurred view on SD channels. nnI wont refer it to some one who sees a lot of TV or for regular use.nnVoice is clear and okay . I am using it in 12x20 room.
