OxygenOS 16 debuted last month as the latest software version for OnePlus devices. It’s based on Android 16 and comes with a refreshed UI, lockscreen personalistion, updated AI features, and more. Soon after the launch, OnePlus also rolled out the OxygenOS 16 closed beta for select devices, and now the stable version has been released for the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s.
OnePlus has officially announced the stable version of OxygenOS 16 for the 2025 flagships in India. These are the first phones to receive the update in India. OnePlus plans to expand the rollout to more regions and users in batches. If you have a OnePlus 13 or 13s, then your device should have received the update. You can check by going to System & Update > Software Update. If you haven’t received the update yet, it should arrive soon, as it’s rolling out in a phased manner. For the OnePlus 13, the update is CPH2649_16.0.0.210(EX01), and the 13s it’s CPH2723_16.0.0.211(EX01).

OxygenOS 16 brings smoother and faster animations across the home screen and apps as well. UI controls feature polished animations, and the notification drawer and Quick Settings now display seamless status bar transitions. The latest software version also brings the Trinity Engine for enhanced performance across videos, gaming, and extended camera use.
There’s a new Photos app update in OxygenOS 16, which brings an immersive browsing experience with improved album organization and easy access to swipe-up information. It also adds advanced video editing tools such as split, merge, adjust speed, transitions, and music for effortless, high-quality video creation. OnePlus has also updated AI Notes, Recorder, Translate, Writer, and VoiceScribe with more features and improvements.
The app drawer now has a separate section for categories. Here, all your apps are automatically arranged in different folders like social, photography, tools, and entertainment. There are several more features, which you can check out in detail here.
In addition to the OnePlus 13 and 13s, more devices are slated to get the stable update this month. The list includes OnePlus 13R, OnePlus Open, OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus Pad 3, and OnePlus Pad 2.
