I'LL SHARE FEW POINTS WHICH WERE ON MY MIND BEFORE PURCHASING THIS REFRIGERATOR. *BOUGHT ON 18TH DEC,16 1.) PRICE: i got this refrigerator for INR 17,740 (after exchanging my old refrigerator + 10% additional discount on sbi card) but this product is worth even at INR 22-23,000. 2.) MANUFACTURING DATE: OCTOBER,2016 3.) SAFE HOME DELIVERY : delivered by e-kart only after 1 day.they called before coming.delivered at 1st floor opened the product and made sure its working fine.and told me to keep the cover if you want to return it within 10 days.the packing was excellent not even the cover was damaged during transportation. they also took my old refrigerator without any additional charge.FULL MARKS TO THESE GUYS. 4.) POWER CONSUMPTION: approx.300 units per year. the reason i am reviewing this product after 4 months is this only. after two billing cycles as per 4 member family's average usage . the avg. power consumption is 25-30 units per month . 3-4 star rated product. 5.)NOISE : yes this product makes a little more noise then a normal refrigerator. but you won't even notice that after first few days. FEW TIPS: GO FOR MIRROR WHITE IF IT'S CHEAPER BY MORE THAN A 1500 BUCKS. YES THERE IS NO LIGHT IN FREEZER AND VEGETABLES COMPARTMENT BUT EVEN MOST OF THE PRODUCTS DON'T HAVE THAT TOO. GO FOR IT
In terms of performance its gud but the quality of accessories is inferior. All plastic ranks and chillar tray got cracks within 1 month of use. When I talked to service man he refused to replace it without charges though it was under warrenty. He stated plastic accessories dont come under warrenty. Not et al satisfied with the quality of accessories at this price. Not expected this from wirlpool.
1. Product is good, cools well for now. Below are the issue lists, day 1: after running 12 hours also cooling is not good. called customer care, they told that there is no issues and first time it takes time to cool. I asked for demo. day 2: Demo guy came, saw the issues, said no problem. day 3: put cooler regulator in 7, it is cooling now. day 4: Came from office, fridge is cold but not chilled, ice comportment: ice is melting. Is it the auto defrost system, I wondered!!! Never used auto defrost before. After sometimes again compressor started, everything back to normal. day 5: Stopped cooling, inside temperature is little less than room temperature. Asked flipkart from replacement. Got an sms, some technician will visit my home next day (i.e. day 6). day 6: Whole day, no one came. day 6 (night): Opened the fridge, all food items are rotten, smells like dustbin. day 7: Got a call from technician, he will visit my house. Technician came, w/o any checkup he replaced the thermostat. day 8 onwards: Fridge is working fine, but keeping an eye on it, when it will fail again. Replacement request is canceled by flipkart as per technician feedback. Now my question is how come w/o any troubleshooting the technician knew the issue is with the thermostat? If he is that much experienced why couldn't he figure out the problem on day one, he figured out only after I asked for replacement.
Perfect refrigerator with perfect features and perfect price.......
Purchased it one month back and was hoping for a drop in my electricity bill as i replaced one 15 year old whirlpool with this. Instead, BILL HAS EXACTLY DOUBLED. Observed that freezer fan runs at full speed even though setting is for lowest speed. The fan noise is irritating now as monsoon makes its way ahead. Anybody else facing this problem? Rating to stay 1- star unless whirlpool resolves the complaint. Worst case, will cut my losses and say goodbye to Whirlpool. A few positives: Looks nice. Capacity is good for family of 3 or 4.
