The Xiaomi MiPad 2 is an all in all good product with brilliant looks and a very reasonable price tag. It impresses with its sharp display, design and powerful configuration and is perfect for those who prefer Wi-Fi tablets.

Display and Configuration

The Xiaomi MiPad 2 16GB version has a 7.9-inch screen with a screen resolution of 1,536 x 2,048 pixels and a pixel density of 324ppi which gives the user a very sharp LCD display with the brightness being satisfactory. Xiaomi manages to make the MiPad 2's look and feel very similar to Apple's iPad mini being extremely light at just 322 grams but with a sturdy metal back cover. The MIUI7 based on the android 5.1 operating system gives a minimalistic feel and is user friendly. It has a powerful quad-core, 2.2 GHz Intel atom X5 Z8500 processor coupled with 2GB RAM which provide good gaming and multitasking experience.

Camera and Battery 

It is backed by a 6,190mAh li-po non-removable battery which proves worthy for a gaming device and it also recharges pretty quickly proving to be an added bonus. The table has an 8MP main camera and an excellent 5MP front camera which is great for video calls and clicking selfies.

Storage and Connectivity

It comes with a 16GB internal storage with an expandable memory of 128GB which gives more than ample space to store files. It has a USB Type-C port version 1.0 along with FM Radio. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB.
