Overall: got it for 20k elsewherelightweight, battery 4 hours, display ok-ok.nice and sturdy built but feels plasticky, touchpad not good, feels rough.keyboard good and comfortable,good for everyday use.

Verdict
Despite being a low end gadget, the Acer Aspire E1-510 (NX.MGRSI.006) sports a bunch of attractive features bound to impress the user. A superb display with the newly launched Windows platform and a decent configuration make tasks easy and smooth. It also has a sound battery, a HD webcam and a powerful optical drive.

The Acer Aspire E1-510 (NX.MGRSI.006) comes with a Acer CIneCrystal LED backlit TFT LCD display that runs pictures and videos at a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels on a 15.6-inch panel. It is wrapped in a 25.3mm thick casing which may not be too attractive with the matte black finish but prevents smudges, fingerprints and scratches from leaving any impression. The device sports a fine touch chiclet keyboard and a touchpad supporting multi touch gestures along with scroll and pinch functions.
 
CPU and Platform
 
Under the hood, the laptop features a 2.1GHz Intel Pentium Quad Core N3520 processor which is further supported by the presence of a DDR3 RAM with a capacity of 2GB. For better performance, you can expand the RAM’s capacity up to 8GB via the 2 unused slots. It handles high quality videos and games without posing much lag via the inbuilt Intel HD GPU. It runs on the freshly launched Windows 8.1 OS which comes as a real surprise considering the price at which it is available.
