Asus Eee PC 1015CX-RED014W Netbook is a compact and low budget laptop but still does wonderful job for a price lesser than a mid range smartphone. It is apt for anyone and the 11 hours of battery backup is one major reason to consider buying this.

The Asus Eee PC 1015CX-RED014W Netbook (Atom 2nd Gen/2 GB/320 GB/ExpressGate Cloud) is a 10.1-inch laptop with a WSVGA Non glare screen; the screen resolution is 1,024 x 600 pixels. It is lightweight and weighs only 1.25kg which is almost just the weight of a standard tablet. It comes in three attractive colors like black, white and red. The pointing devices include chicklet keyboard and touchpad for easy handling.

Hardware and OS

The Asus laptop computer is powered by Intel Atom N2600 processor clocked at a speed of 1.6GHz; and the chipset is Intel NM10 express. Even though it doesn't have dedicated graphics, it has Intel GMA 3600 graphics for good visualization. The RAM is only 2 gigabyte and not further expandable. The device works on 32 bit ExpressGate Cloud platform which is a decent OS. 

Memory, Camera and others

The netbook can store up to 320GB of data in the HDD (Hard disk drive) physical storage unit. It comes along with 0.3 megapixel webcam for taking webcam photos and video chat. There is no optical drive for disk data transfer. The speakers work on HD Audio CODEC solution for decent sound.    
 
Battery and connectivity

Asus Eee PC 1015CX-RED014W Netbook (Atom 2nd Gen/2 GB/320 GB/ExpressGate Cloud) has Bluetooth v3.0, Digital Media Reader, RJ45, audio jacks, USB ports, Ethernet 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI port, VGA port for the networking and connectivity purposes. It's battery is 6 celled Lithium ion battery and gives an incredible 11 hours of computer use.
