I had ordered a Blackberry Q5. I received the item in nicely packed on May 05th. But within one week time, six of its physical keys started non-functioning. On May 12th I raised a complaint and my replacement request was approved. And I received the new item on May 16thnnInterestingly, the original item was manufactured in Apr 2014 and the phone had the latest software. The replacement item was manufactured in July 2013 and it had an older version of Blackberry OS. I received notification from phone that there is a latest software version available. But could not download over the air (OTA) since it is almost 700 MB in size. I have been trying the remaining two options to get the latest software since the time I received the phone. One method is to update via Blackberry Link and the last one is from web browser directly. But unfortunately I could not succeed using both the methods. To ensure that its not a problem with the laptop or data card, I repeated it with two laptops and three data cards (BSNL, Tata Photon Plus, Reliance Netconnect+). But there wasn't any difference.nnAnd more over the cell has poor signal strength inside a normal building. My carrier is Idea which has a very good presence in all over Kerala.nnI contacted Flipkart and I was disappointed by their bad response.nnI have decided not to use Flipkart anymore. I will let others also know about their commentable irresponsibility.
For those who hates blackberry......nOnce I was also in ur league.....nSomeday I keep in touch with a BB Curve 9220 & used it for 7 days.....nBefore that I used SG S4...nBelieve me guys I've fallen in love with the OS,with the ergonomics, with the design, with the feelings, with the usability, with the ease of use of a smartfone.nFor those who r claiming u can get 8mp or 13mp camera, big display, big fone like TV,this fone is not for them.nIf u are smart enough & wanna use a smartfone in ur daily busy life, then BB Q5 will make ur life simpler with each & everything.nI sold my SG S4 to buy this & believe me guys its awesome...nFor android & wp fanboys,if u use BB OS for 2-3 days,u will never get back top that crappy OS's.nI am not going to the specs, but showing u some easiness of using a fone bcoz a smartphone is for mainly for smart using & saving ur time in ur busy days_n1.U've to make 3 steps to make a call.n2.U can go to anywhere by typing its name from homescreen(that's the best part I like most)n3.The OS is blazingly fast & 2gb ram is more more than sufficient for it.n4.Simply stunning looks with awesome camera features.n5.The BB Hub.n6.Whats more u don't have to buy plans for BBM.n7.The premium BB keyboard.nReally friends after using Samsung galaxy S4......nI am saying "Its cool to own a Blackberry".....
