  • How to enable VOLTE on Asus Zenfone Max M1 ?

    S

Answered By Seema Neelam | 11 months ago

You don't need to enable VoLTE. Insert the Jio (VoLTE enabled) in any slot. By default, VoLTE will be active. If it is not, you can change the network preferences from Network option in settings.

    1. Go to Settings > Call Settings (Sim and Network)
    2. Tap Cellular networks > Enable Voice over LTE On/ Off.

Alternatively, you can follow a much easier way:

    1. You can simply dial *#*#4636#*#*
    2. Choose Phone information.
    3. Click " Phone Information" and Toggle VOLTE Provisioned.
    4. Restart the phone and you are done.

  • Does Asus Zenfone Max M1 support OTG?

    R

Answered By Rutuja Nair | 12 months ago

Yes, Asus Zenfone Max M1 supports OTG. USB OTG or USB On-The-Go is one of the most recent technologies that allows you to connect your pen drives and in some cases hard disks to your smartphones and tablets. It has a cable and through that cable, you can directly view and use your pen drive in your smartphones.

  • How to use Led Flash for notifications on Asus Zenfone Max M1 ?

    S

Answered By Shaan Bose | 11 months ago

Flash Notifications are used to give Flash Alerts when you get a Call / SMS.

This feature is already there is most phones by going to:

    1. Settings > Accessibility > Hearing > Flash Alerts
    2. Toggle there to turn it ON/OFF.

This is really beneficial in alerting without making any sound.

    • Don't get dishearted if your phone does not have this feature. There are a number of apps available on Play Store.
    • I'll personally recommend you to use the app named Flash Notification available in play store. It is really easy to use and you can enable it for particular apps and for different sound profiles(Ring/Vibrate/DND).

  • How to hide or protect apps on Asus Zenfone Max M1 ?

    S

Answered By Seema Raman | 11 months ago
Many phones these days provide an inbuilt app locker. You can find this option as App Locker, generally under the Utilities option. You can simply open the option and select an app which you wish to lock. Now everytime you wish to open that app, you will have to enter the phone lock password or authenticate using fingerprint sensor, if your phone supports fingerprint.

Alternatively, if your phone does not support this feature, you can download the app named app locker from play store.
    You can find it here.

    Configuring it is easy.
    1. Download App Lock from the Google Play Store.
    2. You will be asked to set a pattern lock when you launch it for the first time.
    3. Then you need to configure an E-Mail ID for security and backup purposes.
    4. Under the Privacy tab, you can find a list of apps installed. You can select any one of them to lock.
    5. Now whenever you open the app you have locked using AppLock, you will be asked for a password.
    6. You can also unlock it using your fingerprint.
