TRIVIA

Trivia

There were no White Castles in Winnepeg, where it was filmed, so the White Castle company had the supplies for one trucked there. It never sold food, but people kept trying to order from it.

Roger Ebert: "Amreeka" isn't a story of American prejudice, but of American reality, the good and the bad.

Film debut of Melkar Muallem, who received an "an introducing" credit for portraying Fadi.

Feature film directing debut of Cherien Dabis.
