    Malpe, a small fishing town on the Arabian Coast. Located 6 kms to the west of the temple town, Udupi. Malpe's beaches are washed clean everyday by the sea. The waves ensure that nothing gets left behind on the sands. But then, the waves cannot reach everything. It is the time of the year when Udupi and its surroundings are decked up to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmaashtami. Men and children walk the streets dressed up as characters from mythology. Teams painted as tigers are seen dancing to drum beats all around the town. But violence seems to be brewing in Malpe this Krishna Janmaashtami.

Story
Malpe, a small fishing town on the Arabian Coast. Located 6 kms to the west of the temple town, Udupi. Malpe's beaches are washed clean everyday by the sea. The waves ensure that nothing gets left behind on the sands. But then, the waves cannot reach everything. It is the time of the year when Udupi and its surroundings are decked up to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmaashtami. Men and children walk the streets dressed up as characters from mythology. Sych sound technique was used to record the dialogs of the actors, so the actors did not dub their dialogs separately.

Although the exact time line is not established, the events occur in the 1990s prior to year 2000. The number plates on the private vehicles have white writing over black background. This was changed from white over black to black over white for private non-commercial vehicles, and from black over white to black over yellow.

Initial draft for the story was completed in 8 days and the story was ready by March 31st 2011.

The writing pad that Regina uses to write her story is of a 'Tiger' brand. The movie has it's events revolve around Krishna janmashtami (The birth of Lord Krishna) and Pulivesha (Tiger dance).

This film get its inspiration from Rasomon Effect, which is named after the 1950's Japanese film Rasomon directed by Akira Kurosawa.
