This is the first movie in which Kajal Agarwal and Samantha acted together and also it is first time for them to share screen with NTR.
The movie is remade in Marathi language with the name Vrundavan starring Rakesh Bapat, Pooja Sawant, Parashurami Vaidehi, Mahesh Manjarekar, Ashok Saraf, Sharad Pongshe, etc., in titular roles.
Due to its massive commercial success, the movie has been remade several times, most notably in Bengali by the name 'Khoka 420' with Dev, Nusrat Jahan and Subhashree Ganguly reprising the roles of N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha respectively; in Oriya as 'Love Master', in Kannada as 'Brindavana' with actor Darshan; and even internationally in Bangladesh, as 'Buk Fatey To Mukh Foteyna'.
The lead actor, Jr. NTR had an accident shooting for a fight scene, and the shoot had to be stalled for several more days.
The film had to be delayed because one of the senior actors, Kota Srinivasa Rao lost his son in an accident, and could not attend the shoot.
