TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The character portrayed by Georgina Haig was named after Marilyn Burns, the lead actress from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974).

The cameo appearance from Lynda Stoner marks her first return to the screen after a near 20 year hiatus.

In order to set the tone, the cast and crew were asked to study the films Blood Simple (1984), Repulsion (1965) and Rear Window (1954).

The film had its world premiere at the prestigious Screamfest Film Festival in Hollywood and, subsequently, won three top awards. Paul China won Best Director, Georgina Haig won Best Actress, and Brian J. Breheny won Best Cinematography.

The role of The Stranger was written specifically for George Shevtsov.

Popular Dialogues

"Marilyn Burns: I got him a cake. Holly: [smiles] He's only been gone six days. Isn't that a tad excessive? Marilyn Burns: This could be one of the most important nights of my life, I've gotta do something, right? Holly: [skeptic] You didn't... bake it yourself, did you? Marilyn Burns: No, of course not, I don't wanna poison him. [giggles]"

"[first lines] Rusty Sapp: Oh. What can I do for you? Just petrol, is it?"
