TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Universal Pictures' last theatrically released traditionally animated movie, for now, as well as Universal Pictures' first fully animated movie to have a theatrical release since Balto (1995).

The ship that takes Ted and George to the U.S. is named "H.A. Rey", after the author of the Curious George books, Hans Augusto Rey.

This was a failed attempt by Universal Pictures to revive traditional 2-D hand-drawn animation theatrically.

This was originally going to be made into a live-action/animated movie in the early 1990s.

The creators of the original Curious George, the Reys, fled Paris, France, just before Hitler's army invaded during WWII on home made bicycles and managed to take a few in-progress manuscripts with them.

Popular Dialogues

"Ted: Okay, his name is... [sees George Washington statue] Ted: Washington! His name's Washington. Kid 3: That's a dumb name! Ted: Okay, then call him George! Are you happy?"

"Cab Driver: Where you headed, Yellow? Ted: Bloomsberry Museum, and I'll give you an extra ten if you don't call me "yellow", Okay? Cab Driver: Sure thing, Sunshine."
