TRIVIA

Trivia

The roman armor was made with wood and cardboard.

Has an ambitious storyline depicting an alternative history of Roman Empire mixed with Greek Myths. Has some credible social scenes of how cultural history was manipulated by social and political ambition.

Notablely high number of brutal injuries dipicted by credible stunt team for a made for TV production. This also has a now rare scene of a 'Crucifixion', however it is an act which was unlikely to be performed for the reasons within this story, by any real Roman Centurian.

Actor portraying 'Marcus', has moments where could be mistaken for Sam J. Jones.

Second movie showing unusual martial technique of the 'Leaping ariel lunge', a move which no Roman Centurian would have been trained to perform. Here it is a stunt that homages scenes from Troy (2004).
