IMDbDoctor G marks the comeback of Ayushmann Khurrana to issue-based movies. This one is about the only male student studying to become a gynaecologist at a medical college. With the top-class actor in the lead, the movie surely is heartwarming and makes you feel good after you watch it. It moves you enough to develop empathy for the small town guy who is stuck in a situation that society makes him feel weird for. But the character development shown in the film is really nice, allowing the conservative guy to open up to friends, irrespective of their gender. It is, however, the same repeated plot of his previous films where the protagonist first finds it uncomfortable and then ends up opening up completely to the situation. There are certain flaws too. For example, it isn't as funny for a social comedy flick. And, whatever comedy it has is largely cringe and filled with WhatsApp jokes.
